Mo Tingshen didn't move at all; he always had endless work to deal with. Besides, the dishes she ordered all needed to be shelled by hand, which didn't fit his elegant, noble persona.
"So much piled up, it's getting cold," Mo Tingshen glanced up at her.
"None of your business, I'll peel as much as I want!" Chu Yao snapped back, then looked down — indeed, it was all piled up with no space left.
She looked a bit embarrassed but was determined not to yield to Mo Tingshen.
She grabbed a spoon and scooped up a large spoonful of crab meat.
"Planning to eat it?" he asked.
Chu Yao rolled her eyes, "What, should I put it on a little altar with three sticks of incense to offer up?"
"No need for that,"
Mo Tingshen took the bowl in front of her, scooped one-third of the crab meat into the porridge bowl, without stirring, and just pushed it to one side of the porridge.
He placed the bowl of porridge in front of Chu Yao.
"What do you mean by this?" Her face instantly darkened.
