"I'll take you there."
Nan Jiaojiao looked at him amusedly, "I'm more familiar with this place than you are."
"I know," Bo Yanching held her hand as they stepped down the stairs. The freshly turned soil on the right side of the pebble path almost caught her step, but with a long arm, he scooped her up by the waist and lifted her, avoiding a few steps before setting her down, "I'll go with you."
Nan Jiaojiao let him have his way.
Fortunately, Aunt Mou had already prepared dinner.
Jiang Yu wasn't there and left a message that she was busy with something and asked her to eat first.
Bo Yanching pulled out a dining chair for her to sit down, his palm on the back of the chair. He leaned over and asked in a low voice, "Does your master's medicine garden allow others to enter?"
"Are you looking for something?" Nan Jiaojiao asked instinctively.
That implied it wasn't allowed.
"Did you tidy up when you left?"
Nan Jiaojiao suddenly blanked, leaping up abruptly, "Oh no!"
