The first beast and the first human never lessened their ambition to get revenge on the human race. This was especially so after their friend group had decreased by one.
To say that they didn't regret severing their relationship with the first monster would be a complete lie.
They had turned their backs on a friend for a race that betrayed their lord.
Even the first beast had started to keep a closer eye on his own people, though he had yet to see any sign of betrayal stirring up. Beasts tended to be close within their own races.
But it was too late for any reconciliation. The first monster was now their enemy, and one of the two sides would die eventually.
The first monster grew stronger every day, and the rate at which he was growing was increasing as well.
He didn't know how the first beast and the first human were doing, but he doubted they could match his speed. Within the human realm, peace was abundant. Only the occasional disappearances still worried the public. But since only powerful beings disappeared for the most part, few were truly worried about the threat.
The human ruler had attempted to investigate this, but had failed to do so successfully.
He still delivered the quota of powerful beings to the first monster on time, so the first monster did not cause too much chaos.
Years and years passed as the first human, first beast, and first monster grew at rates nearly unseen in the entire multiverse. There was clearly something very special about all of them.
Despite everything, none of them had expected what would come next. The walls of the Universe trembled as powerful beings pierced a hole in it.
A vanguard in golden armor stepped into the Universe, covering the heavens. With overwhelming authority, they trampled their way through the Universe. They were heading directly towards the center.
This was an emergency of unprecedented margin. The first human, first beast, first monster, and even the human ruler, all gathered in the starry sky. Their differences aside, this was their Universe, nobody else's.
Nobody could be allowed to invade their territory.
The human ruler took the first monster as the being beneath the capital, even though he appeared in human form. After all, it was not the form of Nie Shanzi, but the random form he had previously used.
They quickly formed a temporary alliance as all of their Immortals joined them in their stand against the invaders.
The invaders did not speak at all, simply advancing through the heavens with overwhelming force.
The four most powerful of them started the fight. Knowing these opponents could not be underestimated, they went all out at the very start. The first beast expanded thousands of times, his deer-like body trampling countless soldiers.
The first human attacked in combination with the other 8 demons of his organization. Like this, even the first beast paled in comparison.
The human ruler attacked straight forwardly, a melody sounding out as winds blew and silently killed hundreds and thousands of soldiers.
The first monster also took action without holding back.
His human form exploded as thousands of tentacles appeared. Some smashed the enemies into bits and pieces, while others cut them into tens of sections before they could even react.
The first monster caused the most chaos and carnage in the battlefield, clearly making even the seemingly emotionless soldiers express fear as he played with the flesh, blood, and bones of the beings he killed.
His form was unsettling, as the tentacles had eyes on them, excuding an overwhelmingly dangerous aura.
The golden armored soldiers charged forward without regard for their lives, dying by the thousands. Some were False Immortals, and others were simply at the Great Dao realm.
Other beings soon joined in, fighting against the soldiers in golden armor. The golden soldiers weren't gaining any ground, but still advanced constantly. It was an endless sea of death. In the center of it all was the first monster.
He stood strongest against the enemies. The battle went on for a week straight, a few thousand Immortals died, while the number of golden soldiers killed was in the millions.
Eventually, the golden soldiers stopped moving forward, and the battle temporarily stopped. Above all of them a golden figure appeared. As it did so, the thousands of remaining soldiers stopped moving, turning lifeless.
The golden figure seemed a mix between human and ghost. It seemed a bit tired, but not nearly as tired as everyone who had been fighting for so long.
The figure waved his hands and golden spears shot down like heavy rain.
All of the Immortals resisted together, but a few were injured and two even died.
The figure then waved his sleeve, and a meteor fell.
Every time the figure waved his sleeve, countless attacks rained down on the Immortals of the Universe.
The Immortals fought back, trying to advance, but more injuries appeared and deaths even occurred.
The first beast and the first human took the lead as they shielded off most of the attacks.
As soon as they got close enough, the human ruler thrust out a spear at the enemy. But with a wave of his sleeve, the spear was sent flying.
Suddenly, the first monster appeared behind him in human form, and his finger penetrated the golden figure's neck.
A tentacle was shot into its body and tore up its insides, causing blood to pour out of its pores, eyes, and mouth.
The figure blinked behind the first monster and waved its sleeve, sending a condensed spear at him.
The first monster's human form broke apart into hundreds of tentacles that directly avoided the attack and cut at the figure.
A brief battle broke out, the first monster's everchanging form preventing him from being killed.
Eventually, as a tentacle sharpened into a sword, it cut off the figure's head. A hundred more slashes attacked in the same instant, shattering its body. It was dead.
