Welcome, let me start with an introduction. My name is Rin Silver Dee Rico, and I am turning sixteen this year. it is nothing special, but my age isn't why I am pointing it out. the reason I am pointing this out is because this is the last year I can take the awakening test. That is no fault of mine or my parents. Unfortunately, they won't be available today because they both have work. So here I am on bus 21 to downtown, now let me explain why this is my last year and why we must go through awakening and such things.
The best explanation is that We Have multiple forms of evolutionary control. The first time it happened was back in the early eighties. although the government had their reasons to suppress the outburst. That was called the Great meeting, or that was as the Ravenna called it. now, however, they call it the induction, and that was their choice. It seems to allow our culture to grow using science, limiting our interests in the fantasy. But before I was born, they decided that our earth was spiraling out of control. So they finalized their plan, which brought about magic advance along with our scientific efforts made for a world drought with adventure now its been a total of twenty years since then.
Now, this brings me to my current position. All children that were born within my generation and Down are all connected to a Magical A.I. although it's not exactly the way you think. It is a simple Hud and Connection to the World Orbital System. although it connects to all, allowing everyone to see the system and use it altogether for the Worldwide business! They are called the guilds and have all established their reasons.
That reason alone is called the awakening. Normally, one goes through it at fourteen, but if you are poor like my family well Work is more important, and my parents both worked to support us, so I was unable to make it to the first two awakenings Although I don't resent my parents for them being supportive because both of them were there. Since I have not needed to Awaken to work Thank the government for that. Thus, after I missed the First Awakening, I got a job and have been working for my future!
That leads me up to the Fact of Awakening. When one goes through it, they open the Mana Core, allowing for the meridians to merge the Flows, allowing for the use of external and internal mana useage. sometimes, though, along with the meridians opening, the system asigns a class as We call it. Although it is rare, it can happen more commonly. A person works at the gains to receive a sub class before growing into a class. Although no one specifically says you have to be a mage or a knight, those who gain the class have an easier time at it. Although humans and Beasts seem to evolve after a certain level of strength, no person ever veers too far away from their class. Adventuring may be a job in this World That Has Grown and mutated thanks to the mana that now saturates it.
however, even if you are able to have people of great power, it does not stop nature from adapting that power. thus the need for guilds and the adventures that populate them.
After the Alien, we called Ravenna, established their Orbital System, and they landed what we call Star Gates it allows Other Species Of Which we have Friendly and Unfriendly visitors every year on the dot And Have Forced us to battle as they called this our punishment for Our crimes against the Universal League alliance.
Which We are Slowly Earning our way into, thanks to the younger Generations... Well, not me. I am just a poor nobody, my father is a Healer Who Gained a class called illness Purges it is a shame he can only purge Small Illnesses. My mother gained a class called Machine Artist. She has the ability to learn any machine and use it to a greater degree than others. Both my parents came from poor families who gave them no choices. So they went to the government, and they issued them Class assistance.
I am going to do the same thing today, although I am unknown whether or not if it comes to me receiving a class, so my subclass will probably determine my GPA usefulness. To explain that is a Guild Placement assessment. Hopefully, this will help me in the future to find a job that pays well. The Ranks are Like most Guild Ranks From E Too S Rank. Only exceptions are Double or Triple S Rank and Legends Status Which Is And Can Be Considered true Only If the Empire Leader, Or the Governments President, or The Guilds Council have Dubbed and seal it with either of the three Official Seals. although Very Few Adventures, Mercanaries, or Even Nobility Try To Gain that Most Become Settlers and End On the Double S Rank.

Now, to my point, I have arrived at the New Cathedral downtown it appearantly used to be city hall, but it burnt down by accident but was around the same time the Ravenna gave us Teleportation Abilities They have Since reworked it And Made It a teleport Center that also Doubles as an Awakening hall as it houses the Mana Core and Super computer for this Regions Connection.
Even though we no longer need the permanent connection, it still remains standing proud. The Thing that Suprises Me Is the Amount Of Kids My Age. When I lined up, I hadn't expected to see so many others. Then Teo Girls in front of me turned around to look at me before the white Blue Eyed blonde girl on my left scoffed at me. The girl next to her was Black. The Feature that Drew me To look at her for so much longer was The Scar Over Her Eyes. the scar was not terrible nor a disfigurement as It Made Her Shine. Our eyes met for an uncomfortable amount of time before her friend Broke Our Eye contact.

Now it's just a birthday thing, so most parents are here to celebrate after. I decided to join them, being pleasantly surprised by the conversations they were having.

He chuckled as I felt a small gust of wind, which drew my attention to a boy three people behind me. he opened his mana to the Wind attribute. The item in front of him was a small fan that was pushing air. The woman laughed as she Gathered he mana Touching his arm, the boy looked at her, muttering as his eyes went dark. " The wind sounds like that mad singing?"
He screeched as he hunkered into a ball, which made everyone around him laugh.
I felt bad as I went to comfort him. The girl began to panic as the old man Comforted her about it his words, though that made me flinch.
" Young man It seems you two have already awakened... as for that young boy, it seems he has some trauma locked behind his. Is it possible you can help him up and follow me."
He snapped his fingers, and two men in Grey and black armor stepped forward he spoke to them, something we couldn't hear, and they nodded, and he moved pretty quickly to the end of the hall. I had no choice but to pick this other kid up he was smaller than me in Stature since I am a bit fatter as an honest opinion he was not to heavy Although he was on the softer side or more like frail? that is a good representation, but his looks are about a seven. He has freckles and can't see his eyes, but the grey hair says he is Elven or at the very least half. his ears were human looking, so I made the assumption as I followed that older gentleman. We went into a door at the right of the stage and into a corridor that seemed to twist and turns but never really ends!
I shivered at the site of the Ebony door it was an eerie dark, but the door knob was a pure white ivory it has the carving of a wolf very intricate!
the man never touched the door, but the wolf howled as the door keened open ever so quietly. The man coughed as he stepped in speaking to a woman behind a desk.
" Ma'am I brought them as you asked the girl will be along shortly after her meditation is finished."
He bowed and left before she could speak.
Her eyes locked on the door, smirked as she looked at me, I felt chills in my spine like a predator just found prey. She began to move, and I felt my body melt in sweat. I tried my hardest to move as she got closer, and I heard my heart screaming. The next moment, I knew I bit my tongue, which made my body Flinch, allowing me to move an inch. As her nails passed my head, I hit the ground only to feel my blood trickle down and drip off my chin.
Her red hair, grey eyes, and shorts Stature made no matter. The pressure she exuded alone made my body and mind panic!
I scrambled as she took another step closer. My general squeak made me look no weaker than crawling away, so it wouldn't matter if she caught up to me.
Instead, I heard a chuckle and felt the energy that was making my body feel heavy subside. Her Shine was very powerful as her smile made me feel like I saw a vengeful spirit get peace.

she had a dark expression flash over her face before she smiled brightly her gaze fell on me as I felt more than a shiver in my spine it was like a Magical Tingle Screaming. " Fuck No!"
