"How about this? You can rest for a few days, stroll around the town, and get used to your new life. I'm not like the Wizard. This will be your home. As long as you follow the rules, no one will force you to do anything you don't like."
Catherine simply nodded in silence; no one knew what she was thinking. At that moment, she noticed the sunlight shining on her. Reaching out, she touched it, feeling its warmth, and couldn't help but murmur softly.
"The sun has risen."
"Yes, the sun has risen," Lance followed her gaze, a glimmer of dawn light streaming through the window.
Lance, on the other hand, didn't have so many sentimental thoughts; his mind was filled with curses.
Damn that Old Ancestor for making me stay up all night again! Every hair I lose is a bullet, and I'll make sure to unload them all into him! I'll give him a real eye-opener with a cannon!
Lance made a mental note of this; he was never someone with a good temper.
