After stealing the points from Rose, we left her alone in the jungle after placing a tracker on her. The tracker was attached to her hair and since it was a nanobot, it was almost undetectable. With that, I could keep an eye on the main characters after she joins them in the academy.
"... Do you even remember the place where we were supposed to meet up?" Sylvia asked.
"The thing is... I put a tracker down there but, the location of the tracker keeps changing... A mutant has accidentally taken it away..." I replied. "It's a slight mistake on my part, sorry... I should have listened to your request to make a map."
"..."
Well... That wasn't a part of my plan... We are kinda fucked... None of us is good with directions, so unless John finds us by tracking down our scent, we won't even know if we are roaming in circles.
"And you call yourself the smartest man alive..." Ryuk remarked.
'I have literally never done anything like that, even if my intelligence is high, that doesn't make me the smartest man alive, I am not perfect alright. Those who call themselves perfect have a God complex or superiority complex.' I said. 'There are two days left until the exam ends, I don't need to alter the timeline now, so I can spend my time leisurely. Since I have already put a nanobot in one of the members of the protagonist's team, I have completed my goal. I would like to fall asleep right now, but because of my high stamina, I will wake up in a second.'
A second in my Flashtime is currently an hour. I could easily take a nap in the middle of a battle to fill up my stamina in a second.
We could have tracked down John and Tommy if Sylvia had unlocked her x-ray vision, sadly she was too focused on her martial arts training just like us.
"Since we don't have a way to find the others, care to tell me about this otherworlder that you guys are after?" Sylvia asked.
"Samuel Jennifer, born in a middle-class family, age fifteen, awakened as a speedster at the age of five. Brown hair, black eyes, with a devilish charm. That's all I know about him... However, by the knowledge showcased by him, I can tell that he is from a less-developed planet. Maybe an ancient era or something." I answered. "Though... The problem is that he is a speedster... If he was a normal otherworlder, we could just get rid of his negative energy but since he is a speedster we have to alter the timeline before killing him."
"But... To alter the timeline you would have to know the future... So we would need the help of a psychic with clairvoyance or-"
"A Speedster from the future... You can worry less about that, I got it covered, I know a clairvoyant who can help us." I finished her sentence. "However, too many alterations can ruin the timeline."
"That's why you told me not to tell anyone because the more people know about this... The more chances there are for the timeline to get ruined." Sylvia folded her arms, thinking about what I just said. 'Ray told me everything truthfully but... Why did he lie about the fact that he knows someone who knows the future? He isn't the type to lie about something like that... Is he a psychic? Or... Is he from the future? No... That's impossible... For someone so young, how can he be from the future? What is he hiding?'
Doubtful thoughts filled Sylvia's mind... She wasn't sure if she could trust my words, we may be friends but that doesn't mean that she trusts me as much as John or Uncle.
This was one of the reasons I agreed with Ryuk when he asked me to make her fall in love with me. When you truly love someone, you could look over all their misdeeds and even sacrifice yourself for them. If she has that kind of love towards me, then she won't doubt my actions as much as she does now. It might be hard to make her fall for me but that is a step that I must take.
Having a strong ally and having a loyal ally are two different things. After all... What is the use of a strong ally if you can't control them?
