Qualifiers like 'Beginning of the Spiritual Palace Stage,' ' Piddle of the Spiritual Palace Stage,' 'Top of the Spiritual Palace Stage,' and 'Peak of the Spiritual Palace Stage' were just general qualifiers to be able to understand where a cultivator was, like saying the sprout had just sprouted, was starting to stabilize, or was looking fresh and vibrant ready to bloom!

Even the most exaggerated case of one's power and capability spiking, which was stepping between the thresholds of different stages wasn't really a case of an individual becoming all that stronger at once.
In a raw comparison, it was only ever about five or ten percent stronger then before stepping from the Peak of a prior stage to the Beginning of the next. The main difference was that each cultivation stage tended to add a new 'organ' and the advantage of this organ was tremendous when dealing with someone who didn't have such an organ.
