If you remember, Tyler was prevented from eating anything in the fridge and even the pantry by Delmira.
"Fine!" Tyler yelled with a growling stomach "I will go get my food."
Paisley seriously looked through documents from the old man's place. He sighed as he walked out of the room. Tyler smiled at a house and hummed to himself as he walked towards the front door.
"No one home?" Tyler thought
He picked the lock of the door and locked himself inside. Tyler looked around the seemingly normal house of the family and found himself found in the fridge. Until he stumbled upon a door with an electronic door lock and a pin pad nearby.
"What might we have here?" He smiled blowing smoke onto the pin pad
The fingerprints, although faint became visible on it. He punched in the pin, opened the door and he found an office. Well, it wasn't uncommon for parents to work hard to keep kids out of their rooms, Tyler thought.
He went to the desk, quickly look through it, and only found boring documents. Tyler bit his lower lip trying to figure out if he had entered the wrong house. He pushed his hands over the marvelous woodwork of the desk in frustration and stopped.
"This table...the table?" Tyler frowned
His inner self celebrated. There was a hidden compartment on the desk and he opened it carefully. Inside there were documents about everyone in town and sweat ran down his brow. Some people's photos were crossed out while others weren't.
His senses told him there was something else in this house and he returned the box of documents. Tyler accidentally stumbled forward and saw a button that he pressed. The floor underneath opened and a cold breeze entered from the hole.
The still eyes of a fellow human being looked back at him and Tyler frowned. The woman, he threatened had frozen to death. Tyler was horrified, realising that he had been too late to interrogate the woman before her death.
"Fuck." Tyler whispered as if saying it to the woman's corpse
*NOISES*
Tyler swallowed his saliva and focused on the outside noises. To his dismay, the sound of footsteps boomed in the house and he looked around. The person tried to open the door. Fear filled Tyler's heart as he heard the sound of the door knob being turned.
"Finally," a gruff voice boomed when the door opened up "Old door, right?"
Tyler was in the cooler with the corpse and felt nauseated remembering his bad experiences.
"So, your wife said those outsiders are snooping around?" a feminine voice asked
husband smiled, "Don't worry. I took care of her but the outsiders still live."
"I'm thankful for your help in this Project to bring about a new age." the woman began "You've been faithful to your task."
"Anything for the Lord," the man responded
*BANG*
"Gunshot?"
"Lady Jade, why?!" a voice coughed
The woman responded, " You're not useless. The outsiders will soon come to find your wife and you."
"Please hurry up." Tyler thought shivering
"You can do something...cough....with your abilities and control-" the man refuted
"Everything is almost in place, we don't need loose ends anymore." She laughed lightly
"ALL THESE YEARS!! I FOLLOWED YOUR WISHES!!" he replied "WAS THE HOPE OF ME RECEIVING A TITLE?"
"Pathetic," the woman said
She walked away and went it became silent, Tyler came out. He sucked in the warm air of the outside world even if it was mixed with the bloody smell. Tyler tried to take the moment in, trying to find the beauty in this harsh reality.
"Y..oo...u.."
Tyler turned, there was a large hole in the chest and it was shocking, the man was alive. He looked at Tyler in disbelief.
"Well, I'm off," Tyler announced
He paused as the man raised his arm to him. Although he was dying his eyes were burning with emotions.
"Pl...e...as...e" he went
The man dropped a USB into Tyler's palm. As the man passed away, Tyler quieted and slipped away with complicated thoughts in her mind.
"It's getting dangerous, in this quiet little town." he frowned
He was tackled by something. He coughed up blood as he was tossed onto the road and collided with a truck. He caught a glimpse hooded woman, she stared at him strongly and felt that his body wouldn't budge from her he was.
"The easiest solution is simple yet unexpected, huh?" Tyler thought
*CRASH*
The woman looked at the huge blob of blood and vanished through the chaos of the crowd. It was like a dance of chaos, as the woman disappeared into the confusion as quickly and quietly as a mouse scurrying away from a light.
In an alley lay Tyler who was panting deeply. His back bled profusely, his left arm was swollen and half his body was in the shadow of the house.
"I...I have suffered." Tyler frowned with a growling stomach "I need to wait for it to be safe to go back home."
Tyler took out a device from his pocket and connected it to the USB port. He looked at the loading icon anxiously. Tyler was desperate for his situation to change. He had been patient for so long, but something had to give soon.
"Please hurry. That crazy bitch might be looking for my corpse." Tyler thought with a frown
Tyler tried to pick his batter body up and was on guard. He was prepared to defend himself at a moment's notice, his body tensed and ready for anything.
Rafael sent a sick leave to his superior and was holding something covered in his right arm.
"What's that?" Mike asked
"Meat," Rafael answered
Mike and the other teachers were confused, "Wait, what?!"
"I have a dog that eats like a beast." Rafael smiled trying to keep his persona
He left the school and walked down the streets.
"We're being followed." the covered Lucielle told
Rafael acted natural, "How many?"
"One?" Lucielle frowned
"Ha...I'm being underestimated, aren't I?" Rafael thought walking faster
"Wait-" a voice went
