"I'm sorry, but I cannot. I am aware of your...needs, and I apologize that I cannot grant you your wish," Greed apologized, well aware of what the Seer was about to ask, given the context and their close understanding.
The Seer went back to flipping the pages with a disappointed gaze, uninterested in all the candidates.
He sat in the captain's office within the barracks, sifting through the profiles. Each flip of the page felt like a heavy sigh, echoing his growing impatience. None of the names or profiles seemed to impress him. Greed stood nearby, observing the Seer's frustration.
"These are the best we have?" the Seer muttered, tossing another file aside. "None of these candidates seem suitable for me, as you know."
