The carriage came to a stop in front of Seraphina's house as it shook from side to side. The coachman was quick to jump down to open the carriage's door.
"We will not be staying. We have some businesses to attend to," said Mr Castiel to Seraphina, who watched as the carriage turned around and left through the gates with her parents inside.
This has been their routine for the past five days now. They barely stayed home. Leaving very early in the morning and returning late at night. What were they up to?
Seraphina shook her head and sighed. Turning to head inside, Marissa came rushing towards her.
"My lady!" The girl shouted, beaming with smiles on seeing her. "I'm so glad you are back! How did the dinner go? Which of the lord's sons are you going to marry?"
Seraphina shot Marissa a glare at her question. "I am not going to marry anyone out of my wish."
