David woke up early in the morning to pray for his journey. After praying he started arranging his things so he could leave, he took his bath and headed downstairs where he met his mum preparing breakfast.
Good morning mum, he greeted. Morning David take your seat she replied, she served him coffee and toast while sitting beside him. How was your night she asked, it was sleepless David replied.
What happened his mum asked worried, is nothing David replied. I was just overexcited knowing I have a grandfather and I am looking forward to see him, that was why I couldn't sleep.
They kept chatting till Victor also came out of his room. Good morning Dad David greeted, Good morning love his wife also greeted. Morning everyone he replied.
Victor say down and joined them to have breakfast, there was an awkward silence afterwards till Victor broke the silence. I have few words of advice for you David he said

AT THE PARK
Oga how much is the fare from here to Zaria David asked, it's seven thousand Narita the driver replied. David just entered the car and payed the fare without negotiating.
Not knowing that the actual price is five thousand and the driver just said seven thousand casually in case David would want to negotiate, so that no matter what he won't be at loss.

But David was meant to be disappointed as the driver always made fun of him, and tells him that they have not even gone halfway because he noticed David was a newbie and did not even his destination
After about seven hours ride they can't to halt at a park somewhere at Zaria. everyone alighted before the driver noticed that David was still sleeping inside the car, the driver woke him up and informed him
David stepped out of the car and breath in deeply, then he decided to inform his Dad about his arrival. he took his traveling bag and started walking out while trying to call his Dad.
Good afternoon Dad I have arrived he started blabbing the moment the call connected, but before he could hear any reply from his Dad he could only see someone running away with his phone, he tried running after the thief but to no avail, the thief was already out of sight.
David did not bother about the thief, he just asked around for a phone boot and made call again to his Dad again Dad a thief ran away with my phone he complained,
