Chapter 2 - Ch.2

Sarutobi Hiruzen sat at his desk looking over a file. It was the one Uchiha Inari, the second survivor of the Uchiha massacre. One that Itachi should've killed.

Inari was a 3rd year at the shinobi academy, a bright student that was the 4th in the rankings. He was half Uchiha on his father side, with his mother being a Hatake, they both died during the Kyuubi attack. All and all nothing very significant or noticeable besides his parents.

Then he looked at the hospital report on him. The medics were at first shocked that he was alive with those two scars on him. According to them even a harden shinobi would've died with these wounds.

One scar that went diagonal across his chest looked like someone tried to cut him in half, and the other one seemed like a kunai was driven straight though him partly piercing his heart. The fact that the medics said they were new, cleanly cut as done by a professional, and somehow not killed Inari shocked them.

That alone showed that Inari was no ordinary kid, but the doctors also discovered something strange with his Chakra. It had somehow gotten denser and became more potent. They think that he might've awakened the sharingan since this happened.

Hiruzen put the files down and sighed. Last night was the Uchiha massacre, and while Sasuke was still in a coma from the mental trauma, but this Inari kid pulled another shocker on them by waking up at 9:30 am and started doing basic physical exercises. That was nearly six hours ago and doctors say he ready to go home as he apparently made a full recovery.

Hiruzen mulled over these facts in thought as he waited for Inari to come, they were having a meeting to discuss about what happened. 'I hope I can gain some insight into his condition, it's not normal. I also have to make sure Danzo doesn't get him, while his intentions are good(somewhat) the survivor suddenly disappearing would raise to many questions.' Hiruzen thought.

A knock suddenly came from his door and he straightened up. "Come in." Hiruzen said as he already knew who it was. Kakashi in his anbu outfit walked in escorting Inari who had a blank look on his face. They marched up to the desk and greeted him. "Hokage sama." they both said.

Hiruzen nodded at them before turning to Kakashi. "Thank you Hound, I will call upon you if I need you." Kakashi bowed and vanished in a flicker.

Sarutobi studied Inari as he just looked at him with a blank look. He was wearing a new pair of black shorts with a white T-shirt. He was quite clean since he just came from the hospital but that was to he expected. The only thing he the Shinobi no Kami could discern was the fact that he didn't let his eyes show emotion.

Hiruzen was still trying to gauge him when he spoke. "You know Kakashi should just stop wearing that mask unless he plans on cutting his hair," his lips quirked "name another person in the world that has hair like that." he said.

Hiruzen opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't find anything to say. He was right. Five slaps were suddenly heard as he and his anbu slapped themselves on the face as I Inari let out a small chuckle.

Hiruzen sighed. 'At least he still has a sense of humor' he thought. Hiruzen looked up. "Jokes aside, you are here to talk about what happend last night." he said.

Inari nodded. "I will tell you what I remember." he said. Hiruzen listed to him explain. "I don't remember much. I was heading home but it was quiet, I felt something was off so I hurryied home. But then..... I.... felt a pain in my back. When I turned around I saw a man in a black cloak wearing an orange mask."

Hiruzen interest peaked at the mentioned of the man in a orange mask. Itachi purposely made sure he would be recognizable so his brother would recognize him. So who was this masked man.

"Who was this man?" Hiruzen asked. "I don't know." Inari said. "But he was a one eyed Uchiha." Hiruzen looked at him startled. He knew of no case of a one eyed Uchiha. So where did this person come from.

Hiruzen sat in thought. The boy was telling the truth, that much was certain. But he hadn't told him anything about the scar on his chest or Itachi.

"Did you run into Itachi at all?" Hiruzen asked. "No Hokage sama." Inari answered. "How about that scar across your chest?" Hiruzen asked.

Inari was silent for a moment before answering. "I can not tell you Hokage-sama. When I woke up and crawled under the house it was already there."

Hiruzen became suspicious. The first part was a lie, but the second one wasn't. He'd have to keep an eye on him.

"What happens now?" Inari asked. He was wondering what would happen so he could plan ahead. He wanted to converge a few martial art techniques and needed time to do that. Time he planed to get.

"I can take him." A voice said. Both Inari and Hiruzen turned and saw the newcomer. He was an old man in robes with bandages covering half his face and his arm which was also in a sling.

Inari had one thought, 'Dangerous' as he looked towards the man. He had mett plenty of people in the Demon Cult that was like that. Old man that held onto power through any means. They were the men he hated most.

Hiruzen looked at the man, not very happy to see him. "Danzo." he said.

Everyone noticed how the moment Danzo entered the room Inari tensed up. Many where surprised, but Danzo eyes gleamed at this.
