The Galaxy waited in bated breath as news spread that the Zerg is pulling back on all fronts.

Alexander, Raynor and Valerian stood in the field command post that oversee the battlefield via the Tactical table of the imperium.
The battlefield is slowly progressing.
Every inch taken is paved with blood, both human and Zerg alike. Mountains of corpses of Zerg piled into hills. Soldiers gave their funeral rites to their battle buddies as they incinerated their remains.
Every tag of the combined coalition was shown on the holotable is slowly moving closer to where Kerrigan kept herself.

The whistle was sounded.
Imperial Knights roared as they stride across the battlefield like a graceful dancers in a stage of destruction.
Tanks humm to the beat of the boots as they rushed from the battle lines and fired their battle cannons, side stubbers rained at the unending hordes.
Planes from orbit rained upon the skies as it a hail of steel arrows that pierced the ashen skies. They clung onto the Zerg fliers as they gun them down, leaving a trail of carcases from the skies as a sign of their kill.
To a outsider perspective, they were outnumbered and blocked from orbit.
As if they are leading a doomed offensive as the Zerg is soon slaughter them through sheer attrition of bodies they slammed upon the coalition lines.
Alexander and Raynor took their best soldiers to follow into the depth of the planet to destroy the nydus network.
They can't sent massive armies into the cramped cave network of char.
But a small team of elites is enough to flood the cavern network with Lava.
Rory Swann that was Raynor Quartermaster decided to join their little party with a improvised explosives to make char lava Network stressed to the point that it would make the caverns that supply the Zerg reinforcements gave way to the molten lava underneath. He wore a exo suit that have a mech beside him called lil' Betty, mostly made scrapped mechs by the Imperial forge worlds
Ego stenman, who was Hyperion scientist also tagged along, working as a Frontline medic while he is curious of the innards of Zerg biology.
Alexander wore the same CMC power suit like Raynor did. To prevent him from getting sniped by Kerrigan assassins Zerg, he joined the Raynor Raiders marines that followed Raynor in this ops.
"Alright, ready to go?" Tychus spoke. As he revved his mini gun.

They all rushed into the depth of the planet itself.
The battlefield began, rumbled above ground as to mask their intrusion of the cavern network.

"We must hurry!" They rejoined up on the surviving dominion soldiers in their path.
Their numbers swelled to the point that it was a small platoon of riffraff.
Enough for any threats that Kerrigan would imposed upon them.
They arrived at the first of three major nodes that was needed to make the lava overflow.
The screams of the denizens that loitered in the darkness howled as they began to converge into the cavern that held the infiltration forces that fought for their lives.

Alexander stood for a brief moment until he spoke.
"Kill them all, they can't be saved." Alexander gave the order.

He stated a very fockin obvious fact. Some nodded as they began burning the captured prisoners in the perimeter before them.
"There's no time to even cure them and they are already the late stages of infestation... I know Raynor, that you want them to be save... But I can tell that their mind have been submerged into the Zerg Consciousness... Sorry Raynor... The faster we get rid of the queen of blades... The less people would end up like them.." Alexander spoke.
Their attacks on the first node have alerted Kerrigan of their infiltration.
Now she sent a sizable portion of her Zerg army to chased the infiltration group.
Nydus worms popped up and spat countless Zerg that even if they were cramped in the confined space, they didn't care of the trampled or crushed Zerglings.
And add to the problems, the infested Humans that still had their weapons with them, began to fire upon the group.
Alexander eyes gleamed as if there was a opportunity that would present to them...
Almost surrounded by all side, the Infiltration team felt as if they were about to be killed until waves of flames gushed out of one of the caverns and several Terran Firebats walked out with their flamers still on ignition and several Power armored soldiers began to assist them.
"Who the hell are you trooper!" One of the Dominion barked.
"I am Corporal Buttcrack and this is Sargent Crackhead from the Raynor Raiders, we managed to get some of the survivors in the cavern." The leader saluted as he nodded.
"The more the better, how many are there?" Raynor asked.
"We manage to have 2 and a half platoons at combat ready sir. We managed to regroup of what's left of the eastern sector." Buttcrack spoke.
"Good things don't come by often..." Alexander was surprised of these troopers.
The last time he saw them was basically the siege of Mars Sara.
With the added soldiers joined their motley crew. They managed to blocked the second node with better defenses and managed to erupt the second node, this time the lava is flooding the lower levels of the planet, causing the Zerg chasing after them to be drowned in lava.
But it wasn't enough, the last node was needed. And this time, they truly got Kerrigan full unwanted attention, she sent scores of Zerg after them.
This time a Ultralisk was sent after them. It's massive frame crash into the network without care as if to hunt the small mortals before it.
Raynor and Swann manage to divert it to a massive pothole that is filled with lava as Raynor noticed that it had more vested interest in him than Alexander.
"Oh, Darlin... you really wanted to kill me?" After he sat a few chamber away to catch his breath. He wondered if Kerrigan really loved him.
He gather his thoughts as the last push is being prepared.
Alexander gave him some encouragement...
"Raynor... I don't think it that way.."
"How so? That thing eyes was upon me!"
"Look... Don't you realize something? The queen of blade is literally trying to kill you because you are the anchor of Kerrigan humanity... If you die, she have no qualms of burning the galaxy anew."
"How did you know?"
"I did burn a galaxy... Because my father died believing in it, died to a system that he fought and bled to maintain... It took... My family, my brothers to bring me back from my path of damnation, I know her feeling as well...you are needed to bring her back." Alexander walked away leaving Raynor to recollect himself and marched with the rest.
The last chamber... Was weird..
It was filled with giant eggs sac.

As they delve deeper and scorching the caverns with open flames, they found a perfect spot to burn the Zerg in the caverns.
As the platoon arrive at the biggest node of all, it was filled with eggs that is big as three Leman Russ stacked high.
The people understood the mission band promptly burn the eggs as fast as they could.
They heard a screeching as a Giant Zerg Queen roared in anger as they killed her eggs.
The soldiers fought long enough to sent the Xenos running.
After taking certain damage the Zerg queen retreated as Swann activate the last node.
The roars grow ever closer as their last foe burst from the ground and attempt to drag anyone into the ground.
Alexander aimed his modified gauss rifle, straight and true as it pierced between the queen eyes and exploded the Brain matter within.
A giant corpse crash that sent dirt clouds.
The beeping reminded them that this is the final cracking.
Everyone retreated as they felt the last tremor, now it began pulsating as the lava began to flood the lower levels of the network. And filling up fast.
The ascent to the surface is fraught with danger.
Kerrigan, now truly sense their arrival began to flood the tunnels once more.
This time, Kerrigan is not letting them leave unscathed.
The darkness sprang forth with beams of light and flashes from the barrel of their gun
The lava began to flow. Surging faster than what they accomplished, Zerg are flooding their path to prevent them from leaving.
The platoon exfil the premises ignoring the Zerg , Hydralisk managed to Gun down some of the Dominion, causing the survivors to lose 20..
As the last of the survivors existed the acrylic hellscape before the lava erupted a final time and burst from the ground and this time the sun shine above char, and they found themselves near the designated grid.
The imperial titans that stood in the distance as they fired upon the hordes, were akin to a benchmark of their geographic location.
The final war on char is fast approaching and everyone is getting ready for the final push to end this conflict.
