Jiang Caixin was pacing her house nervously, the tip of her thumb to her lips. The time was ticking and Liuwan hadn't returned home. Her nerves grew even more until there was a large smashing sound. She looked up as a man cloaked in all red came storming into the kitchen.
"Where are the boys?!" The man cried out, causing her to back into a wall as she stared at him. "Is this not our agreed upon date?"
"It is," Caixin said, clearing her throat.
"Then where are my kids?" The man asked, his eyes glowing red.
"What's going on?" A new voice said as Haoshan walked into the kitchen. He stopped and tilted his head to the side. You could see his eyes flash slightly in fear, but he was quick to regain his composure before the man noticed. "You came."
"You know him?" Caixin asked, looking at Haoshan.
"He's my father. Of course I know him," Haoshan said. He bowed respectfully to his father, ignoring any eye contact with him. "Is it time?"
