Chapter 1965 - Chapter 1848: Tank Graveyard

A Type 96 main battle tank charged confidently towards ten Laines Empire tanks positioned on the open ground. These Laines tanks were old models, modified from tanks previously exported by the Tang Empire.

From their appearances, they seemed to be part of the Laines Empire's own design of "new tanks"; however, internally these tanks were still equipped with gasoline engines and front-mounted transmissions.

Compared to the German Panzer IV or the Sherman, these tanks were only equipped with thicker steel armor and larger caliber cannons. Besides that, there were hardly any significant improvements.

But regardless, they were still tanks! With a 90mm caliber main gun and a coaxial machine gun, they were still potentially threatening if left unchecked.

Witnessing the Tang Army's tank approaching the front of these tanks, none of the Laines tanks moved their turrets or bodies. They seemed immobilized, waiting motionlessly for the arrival of the Great Tang Empire's army.
