A Dwarf officer, clad in a respectable military coat, stepped carefully on the accumulated snow, clutching a white flag in his hand, and walked towards a building occupied by the Tang Army.
Behind him were two accompanying officers, both of whom seemed to hold not low military ranks. One bore a medal on his chest, while the other wore a Dwarven Air Force uniform.
Fearing being taken out by Tang Army snipers, the leading Major General waved the white flag as he walked, proceeding cautiously.
The Tang Army on the opposite side did not fire, as recently it was common for Dwarf soldiers or officers to surrender. They lacked medication, ammo, and their morale had completely collapsed.
Sometimes even the Supervisory Battalion came to surrender, handing over their weapons. To ensure their safety, they even disclosed the situational details around them, the locations of Dwarf Troops' supply depots, and even the position of their command post.
