It's just too bizarre!
The fish phenomenon only happens during the rainy season, and it's long past that time, but the Sanggan River is somehow filled with all sorts of big fish. The sheer number of fish has clogged the river, causing it to overflow onto the floodplains, submerging the reeds, and pushing right up to the back wall of the Red Earth Highland.
Everyone in Ventéclair has come out in full force, even the Antelope Men from underground have been brought by Andulan Elder to stand on both banks of the Sanggan River, catching fish among the crowded masses, while the bandits and robbers from the wasteland are arriving in droves.
"Holy crap!" Richard felt he must be dreaming, rubbing his eyes three times to confirm it was real.
The widest part of the Sanggan River spans the distance of five arrows, with a short river bend on Ventéclair's side, but even so, the other side is about 500 yards long!
How many fish would it take to fill the entire Sanggan River?
