Sighing, Sei sat down on the sofa with her father after all of the morning's antics.
Kenji was busy trying to learn English with the help of Camille. She assisted him by pointing out the words and saying their Japanese counterpart. The old man then did his best to commit it to memory and repeat it aloud.
When Sei sits down, their studying is briefly halted.
"Oh, please don't mind me. I don't mean to interrupt." Sei said politely.
Her father dismisses her concerns with a wave of his hand. "No, no. We were just about to take a break. The little one is quite the dedicated teacher."
Camille smiles proudly as she stands up to pat her grandfather on the head.
"You're getting there, Grandpa. I am proud of you."
Kenji's face unconsciously tightens as he feels slightly patronized.
Sei laughs nervously as she takes her daughter into her arms.
"A-Anyway... Sorry that things were so hectic around here earlier, Dad... I promise that things aren't normally like this."
