Pakunoda sat in the corner of the hotel room, phone in hand, as she listened intently to Kurapika's voice on the other end. He was the only one who knew about him, about his friend Melody, and her ability to listen to heartbeats. The tension in the room was palpable, and everyone was on edge, waiting to hear what Kurapika had to say.
"Get away from the others," Kurapika instructed. "I need to know the state of Killua and Gon. "Are they safe?"
Pakunoda glanced around the room at her fellow troupe members, who were all staring at her, waiting for her response. She knew the gravity of the situation, and the stakes were high. She had to be careful with what she said.
"They're fine," Pakunoda replied, carefully choosing her words. "But we need to talk." "Can you meet me somewhere?"
Kurapika agreed, but with one condition. "All other members of the troop need to go to their base, and the kids need to be unharmed." "We need to talk, and it has to be done without any interference."
Feitan and Phinks immediately spoke up, wanting to stop Pakunoda from going, but Nobunaga and Machi stepped in, supporting Pakunoda's decision. As they began to argue, Nobunaga fell asleep as Shizuku placed him under her vacuuming ability.
With the conflict resolved, the group quickly gathered their things and made their way out of the hotel. They knew they had to move quickly if they wanted to save Chrollo and ensure the safety of Killua and Gon. They headed to their temporary base, ready to regroup and come up with a plan to take on Kurapika and get Chrollo back.
The troupe made their way to their temporary base, the rain falling in sheets around them, making visibility less than a few feet in front of them difficult. The storm raged on, making it hard to hear as well, with the wind howling through the trees and buildings, rattling windows and doors.
Kurapika, on the other hand, was safe and dry in his own hideout, listening to the storm rage on outside. He had just finished speaking with Pakunoda, and he knew that he had to act quickly if he wanted to save Gon and Killua and take down the troupe.
He picked up the phone and called Axel, who had been keeping an eye on the troupe and had just narrowly escaped from a confrontation with Nobunaga.
"What happened?" Kurapika asked.
Axel took a deep breath, listening to the sound of the storm in the background. "I held them for some time," he replied. "But I couldn't stop Pakunoda from taking the information she needed. "I did manage to save the life of Squala, though."
Kurapika nodded, feeling relieved. "You've done more than enough," he said. "Other problems are just luck and inconvenience."
Axel thanked him and hung up, feeling a sense of relief that he had been able to help. He knew that the Troupe was dangerous, and he was glad that he had been able to protect Squala and give Kurapika the information he needed to take them down.
The storm raged on, but Kurapika felt a sense of calm settle over him as he prepared to face the troupe and take down their leader. He knew that it was going to be a difficult fight, but he was determined to see it through, no matter what the cost.
