The next day, Axel reached out to Navi to have a conversation about the island she mentioned. He wanted to know more about the discovery and what was involved in the job.
After talking with Navi for some time, he learned that the island was actually called Darian Island and that it was a place that had never been explored. There were rumors of creatures living on the island and the possibility of finding various riches.
"Finding one important item, a plant, or some sort of hidden knowledge would give me a good starting point and an advantage."
Axel thought.
Axel listened intently after thinking about some of his ideas. He was fascinated by the idea of venturing into an unknown and potentially dangerous territory. He asked Navi questions, trying to get a better understanding of what they would be up against.
The more he learned, the more he realized that this could be an adventure of a lifetime. He thanked Navi for sharing the information with him and promised to get back to her soon with his decision.
"The island is as big as Whale Island, the island where the Gon and Ging were born and lived."
"There are small water ponds and lots of trees on the island."
"From what I heard, it looks to be an ordinary island, but the fact that its existence was new and could not be discovered until now changes everything."
As Axel continued to think about the job opportunity, he couldn't help but be drawn to the thought of the creatures rumored to exist on Darian Island. Navi had mentioned two creatures in particular: Pyhmon, a human-sized praying mantis, and Fleck, a mysterious creature with no known information.
Axel's imagination ran wild as he thought about what these creatures might look like. He had never heard of anything like Pyhmon before and was curious about what it might be like to encounter such an unusual creature.
As for Fleck, the mystery surrounding it only added to its allure. Axel couldn't help but wonder what kind of creature could exist with no known information about it.
He closed his eyes and tried to picture the creatures in his mind, imagining what it would be like to come face-to-face with them on Darian Island. The thought was both exciting and a little intimidating, but Axel couldn't deny the thrill that came with the possibility of discovering something truly unique and extraordinary.
As Axel lay down on his hotel bed, he started to talk to himself about the job offer from Navi. Although the opportunity was intriguing, he realized that there was still a lot of time before he needed to go and explore Darian Island. He estimated that he had at least three to four months to focus on other things.
He decided that the best course of action was to focus on the events of the Phantom Troupe and any other projects he had going on. There was no need to rush into anything, and he could take the time to carefully consider his options and make the best decision for himself.
As he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, Axel was at peace with his decision to focus on the present and not let his thoughts wander too far into the future. He would think about the Darian Island opportunity again when the time was right.
