The cable car stopped as it approached the waterfall because of the pouring rain.
The pilot and the commander thought the girl had gone away with the clouds, for they could no longer see her through the heavy downpour.
The girl had opened the window slightly, allowing the cloud to cover the ship. Suddenly, she heard a voice calling:
"Hello, my sister."
The girl shivered and asked:
"Are you the cloud speaking to me, or is it my sister's voice passing by… or are you truly my sister?"
The voice answered:
"It is your sister's voice, speaking to you from the heart of the waterfall."
Kasha: "Welcome, sister. Are you inside the waterfall?"
Akemi: "Yes, I am. I am trapped in its waters, waiting for you."
Kasha began to cry and said:
"I love you, my sister. I am coming to you. I am hanging among the clouds, waiting for the rain to stop, so that the clouds may carry me to you."
Akemi: "Once the waterfall is filled with the waters of peace, it will stop. This is my chance to check on you and on our mother and father."
Kasha wept:
"Mother… mother… they disappeared. My sister and I searched for you, we even went to my aunt's house in Tokyo."
She added:
"The unjust king took them. He wanted to seize our father's land, but Mother resisted him, so he arrested them and imprisoned them in his palace. I am here with my companions—the pilot Shnemo and the helicopter pilot who brought us from Tokyo."
"We have traveled great distances searching for you and for your friend, the pilot. There is news that the king has arrested him and locked him away."
Akemi laughed and said:
"No, he is with me—and the King is with him."
