Chapter 139 - Reading and drawing

The chief finished his story and began to read the mail sent to him from the military base, which had arrived in a hurry.

The girl, Kasha, was holding a pen and drawing a picture of a waterfall.

The pilot, Shenemo, looked at her and asked:

"What are you doing?"

The girl replied:

"I'm imagining the waterfall that we will go to."

The pilot then looked at the Chief, who was busy reading, and asked him:

"And what are you doing?"

The Chief replied:

"I'm reading an urgent letter."

Pilot: "Can you tell me its contents?"

Chief: "Yes, they are asking me to send pilots to an area near a waterfall."

Pilot: "Why?"

Chief: "To rehearse landings inside it."

Helicopter pilot: "They want to see a mermaid."

Chief: "What's wrong with you? Are you still imagining my story? It's over."

Kasha: "I hear you talking about the waterfall. I think you were following my drawing."

Chief: "I haven't seen it. Let me see your drawing… Oh, how beautiful it is. I wish you could go and visit it."

Kasha: "I will go to it. The mermaid is waiting for me."

Chief: "Even you are still imagining the story."

The pilot, Shenemo, asked the Chief to let him sit with his comrades, so he could explain his words to them. The Chief agreed, and the pilot and his companions headed outside the military base.

In the arena, the pilot sat with his companions and told them:

"The Chief wants to choose pilots for a mission to visit the waterfall. It's a training mission for landing operations inside it."

Then the pilot shouted at them:

"Why do you keep bringing up the mermaid story? We have an unfinished mission. If you two keep talking like this in front of him, he won't believe you. You must answer him realistically. Let's ask him to choose us."
