The cup of water that Kasha was drinking slipped from her hand, spilling onto the chief's side. The president quickly stood up.
The pilot and the commander laughed, saying:
"This is a flood! Where is the captain of the ship?"
The chief looked at his wet pants and asked:
"Where did this water come from?"
Kasha, blushing, said shyly:
"Excuse me, sir… I dropped a glass of water."
Chief: "It's alright, don't worry. For a moment, I thought you were afraid of that captain."
Kasha: "Yes… I imagined he looked like a monster."
Pilot: "Is your story still that long? I want to go to the pool."
Chief: "It's coming to an end. Please, lend me your ear."
That night, the two sisters slept by the valley. The mermaid and the captain dove into the waters, passing through the tunnels beneath the palace.
They broke through the prison wall. The mermaid carried the father, mother, and son on her shoulders, bringing them to the edge of the valley, where the captain laid them gently on dry land. The mermaid smiled and whispered:
"It is your tenderness, my mother and father, that has lit the way for me."
Then, the parents and the brother slept peacefully with the others.
When the sun rose and morning came, the two sisters awoke and found their parents and brother sleeping beside them.
The sisters woke their father. He jumped up in terror, shouting:
"Please, don't kill me!"
When the mother and brother heard his cries, they too rose in fear, clinging to him as if they would die with him.
The two sisters went down to the valley, scooped water in their hands, and poured it on their faces.
Their mother rushed to them, embracing them with tears in her eyes:
"I missed you both so much!"
Their father hugged them too, saying:
"Thank you… you saved us."
