The girl Kasha and the pilot went to the room. Kasha sat on the bed and put on the golden ring. The pilot, Shenmue, asked her where she had gotten it from.
The girl told him that it might be her sister Akemi's ring and that it had fallen onto her.
Pilot Shenmue said, "But I saw something like this with that other girl."
Kasha replied, "Yes, I was in a trance. That girl charmed you with this golden ring. I'll tell you—this golden ring is for your friend, pilot Shino."
Pilot Shenmue said, "You mean he presented it on the day of the engagement?"
Kasha answered, "Yes. There, in our village. They are missing."
Pilot: "How did you get it?"
Kasha: "Look at my hand. It's the magic bracelet he brought me."
Pilot: "Where did you get it?"
Kasha: "It's the best gift the air base has ever given me."
Pilot: "I forgot you were working with us."
Kasha said, "I feel that my missing sister is looking for this ring. I'll put it on the window and leave. If it disappears, it means my sister took it and that she is hidden here. And if the ring doesn't disappear, we should keep it for our engagement day."
Kasha and the pilot, Shenmue, went out for a walk, heading toward a rose garden near the university.
While they were sitting there, the sky became cloudy, and gray clouds gathered above them. Those clouds were carrying the girl Akemi. Her eyes flickered as if she saw toys moving inside them—black spots jumping, stripes flying, and her veil never stopped moving. She cried, "I don't want to stay in the red cloud. I'm afraid the pilot with the nuclear bombs will put his finger on the button, and the Earth will disappear."
