Levi set up the Death Ember Divine Palace far away, miles from the lake.
Then he plunged into the lake, disappearing without a trace.
The lake surface wasn't large, but it was very deep; he swam for a long time to reach the bottom.
The dark, sunless lakebed was littered with rubble and debris.
