Seeing the disbelief on Chen Yang's face, Zhou Yufei shrugged. "The other rooms are all storerooms stuffed full of things. It's impossible to clear them out in a short amount of time. Go see for yourself if you don't believe me."
"Then I'll go sleep on the couch." Chen Yang got up and grabbed his coat to put it on.
"There are no spare blankets. I had to buy these myself."
Chen Yang froze. Does this mean there's no escape?
Zhou Yufei walked over and shot Chen Yang an annoyed glare. "Is it really that big of a deal?"
Chen Yang quickly lay down, curled up on the very edge of the bed, and pulled the blanket over his head without saying a word.
A small smile touched Zhou Yufei's lips as she slipped under the covers from the other side.
An endless silence followed. After an indeterminate amount of time, Zhou Yufei suddenly asked, "Can I see the scars on your body?"
"Like hell you can!"
Zhou Yufei fell silent.
