Grey was in a grass field with a golden sky. Every thing felt so calm and relaxing until a shadow covered him.
Grey looked up only to find a huge blue bear with golden eyes standing above him.
"Is this the umm… lucid land for my dreams as you called Ted?" Grey asked knowing exactly who was above him.
Ted just laughed "yes but with my help you can change and access it even when I'm not around so you can train, rest or go through your own memories."
Grey just rubbed his paws together excitedly
I know exactly how redecorate this place.
A Few Moments later… Ted was staring at a architectural abomination. There was a library next to a forge sitting on top of a silver lab with cactuses growing out the walls. In the very center was a giant harp playing music.
"If you like that you're gonna ~love~ the building underneath the island. It's a game room nothing in it yet though. And I call this beautiful place the LUCID FORGE."
Grey looked so proud Ted couldn't dash his hope for dreams were all about freedom.
"Just call me Alex little one it's what my friends call me." He said with a distant sad smile. "So what will you do first?"
"Well I've been shown and taught so many different thing I'm going to organize it all in the library and test them out in the lab."
"Welp have fun kiddo, also your bloodline seems unstable for some reason take the rainbow potion when you get back it is a bloodline enhancement bottle; however it should stabilize whatever has infected you blood. if your lucky you can evolve into something stronger."
Alex said as he turning into a blue mist fading away.
Grey based his lab on the swamp he grew up on and the Demi god of pranks lab.
The inside was all stone building with some stone furniture and a grey quartz desk. The front only thing atop it was a notebook.
"Let's get started, all those old geezers made learning boring but now I can do it my way with the only limit being my mind."
He had a huge smike on face while his ears stood fully up.
"Now it would help if I could see and display everything…like a visual illusion… I have a great idea."
He imagined the face of the fox slayed Joe and Just his head appeared. The fox heads eyes glowed as a mist covered the floor and images started to be displayed in the air like magic holograms.
A rabbits transparent body was displayed with a core at the center sending energy to the entire body. "Hmm, lets see what we know for sure. That core is our soul with a soul brand giving us elemental powers. The reason that folks more true to themselves awaken is probably because they are more deeply connected to themselves and by extension their souls."
"And by using the Raw energy Flow you can enhance or change your body. Like how my sound rune uses the naturally flowing energy to translate what others say without me actively using it."
"Let's see what others did with sound and vibrations. The Ninja from the memories used his voice to mess with minds. Like charming people or changing moral with uplifting and negative words while changing his tone. He was even able command randoms by tricking their heads making them think it was their idea."
Then a display of the bat from the monkey village next to the rabbit. "The bat used sounds to see all around and track down his prey, when he finally found them he let out a sound that only popped his enemies head's whilst his wings were vibrating really fast allowing him to cut through bones."
Grey turned back to the rabbit display "Meanwhile all I've done with sounds is Yell so loud it hurt but not killed my opponent while leaving me inside. I've also managed to copy voices and sound but really used it.
I have just been using the raw Flow to boost my speed and hearing while fighting with mainly weapons."
"So far weapons have been effective but I can't keep avoiding using sounds. But at the moment I can't control sounds I con only use it to enhance myself until I become tier two."
He started thinking of other ways to use his rune and decided the only way find out was to physically test it.
Grey went to the back room of the lab where two sand and one mold golem stood.
"Is sound is just shaking in the air? Let's find out what happens when my whole body shakes super fast.
His whole body was shaking like never before the floor below him started to heat up while grey felt a constant pain in his body.
He tried to run to the golems but ran to fast and hit a wall head first. The wall exploded once and then second time slightly after creating cracks all over.
After seeing the damage he was happy thought of something.
He walked to the wall this time only his arm was shaking as he punched the wall only causing a small explosion but a few seconds after a bigger explosion sounded off inside the wall shooting debris into his face.
"Why exactly is there a second explosion and why is it even more powerful? This isn't making any sense."
Another idea formed as he formed golden Haze in the lab. Gripping the disc with two paws he tried to vibrate it and it worked.
After speeding up the shaking he threw it towards the golems missing completely as it flew curving into a wall.
Grey was even more confused on why it turned in the air as went grab it from the wall he saw hole the seemed go on into another building.
"So shaking punches cause explosions but a shaking blade cuts things easier? This is so weird. He looked back at the burnt floor where he was earlier.
"When did I burn the floor? All I can do is enhance my body with sound but everything including myself keeps getting damaged, this seem more like the power of destruction."
After continuing to experiment for another seemingly nine hours a golden shock ran throughout the island lab waking grey up from his dreams.
Grey got up from a grass bedding feeling tired and groggy he looked to his right seeing a golden toad stare at him with a smile.
"Come on dude, I made breakfast come eat and you can head out in a bit"
All grey heard was breakfast and he got up before Tony even blinked.
"What are you waiting for Tony? Let's go eat!"
