Chapter: The Storm and the Serpents
...The blizzard howled like a war horn across the mountain pass, but it was no match for the growing silence that fell upon the cliffside.
At the far side of the forest, facing the mouth of the ancient cave of the Medusas, stood hundreds of masked warriors, all clad in dark, rune-etched armor. They held their positions in eerie synchronization—soldiers of the Grand Order, the most feared and secretive force in the continent's holy crusade.
And at the very front of them stood a towering, broad-shouldered figure dressed in full black—his armor void of symbols, his presence overwhelming. His mask was carved into a permanent frown, its lips tight and curved downward with unyielding judgment. He didn't need to speak often.
But when Frown raised his hand, the entire legion readied their weapons.
