"Hmm… What happened? Where am I?"
I had this drifting feeling. It feels like I am floating in the air.
Suddenly, I felt suffocated like I am drawing in the sea, but I don't feel any temperature around me, which was strange.
'I feel like I had fallen into some kind of boundless void and there's nothing around me.'
I quickly open my eyes and I was right, I saw absolutely nothing.
There is no light around me.
Instantly, I felt so lonely, scared, and dark.
Well, I find it funny that I felt lonely considering I live my entire life alone.
"The last memory that I remembered, I died because of the extreme pain due to my strange disease, which means. Is this heaven? No, is this hell?"
I calmly assess my situation. I know I died because I couldn't survive that situation, as no one could help me as the helpers were in the other villas.
Now, I think about it. All of my wealth after my death would go to the poor people, as I don't have descendants or heirs.
Those politicians would go mad knowing they couldn't get a single penny from my money.
Hahaha… they fucking deserve it.
I acknowledge that I am a bad person because of the things I did to reach the top of the world, but I am not a villain either after knowing that I couldn't cure my body, I help a lot of poor fellows instead.
I am not a righteous hero, but I at least help those in need.
Anyway, knowing that I died, the first thing that comes to my mind was whether I go to heaven or hell.
Although, I do not believe in god or gods; however, I do believe that there was a place where people go after death.
I look at the surrounding. This place was not heaven nor hell because this place was like a void, a nothingness.
Knowing I can't figure it out just by looking at this black space. I tried to move but I find myself didn't move a bit.
Suddenly, I discovered that I couldn't feel my limbs.
How did everyone else react in this situation? I panicked and immediately look at myself or should I say, hands and feet.
But I become dumbfounded and shocked after l looked at myself because I didn't see any limbs but instead a ball.
Yes, a ball. It seems that I become a ball emitting strong light in this dark place.
I guess this is my soul.
Now, what?
After I discovered that, I was in my soul form and couldn't do anything.
Looks like I'll just wait for what's going to happen next.

I don't know how long I am drifting, for god's sake.
When suddenly, I felt a strong wind pulling me.
No, it wasn't winding at all. That was the energy like those in animes or movies.
Strong energy was building in this dark space.
Wait, don't tell me this is reincarnation like those in novels.
When this thought stung in my mind, I immediately got excited.
After all, I am pretty sure everyone wanted to reincarnate and get another chance to live again.
Although, I am busy with my company when I have time free I watched anime and read novels as a hobby to pass time and relief my stress.
And all young people know about reincarnation stuff as this was a very popular novel genre, and every reader dreams of reincarnating into another world.
And, of course, I sometimes imagine myself having the chance to get reincarnated as a new person after knowing I couldn't cure my disease.
Still, I didn't expect that I am going to experience this kind of thing.
I couldn't hide my excitement and even look forward to it.
I saw a massive energy starting to form a blue-coloured portal in front of me, like in those sci-fi movies. However, the portal has golden runes which are different from a typical portal and more like those magical movies or animes.
I know that I would reincarnate after passing those portals.
When suddenly, I saw a very strong golden energy appear and was moving towards me, making my excitement stop, I felt a threat from those golden threads.
This new energy was different from the energy earlier because I felt the threat and sharpness of those things.
And my senses were telling me to get out of the way and not let those things touch me.
I become the richest man and survive all those deadly moments in my life because of this strong sense of mine.
I quickly used my entire strength to move away from the threatening energy, but it seems that the energy didn't give change as it quickly enveloped my entire soul.
In an instant, I felt unimaginable pain. I felt so much pain that I couldn't even scream or at least lost consciousness.
I felt that this energy was cleaning my entire soul. It seems that these things are responsible for cleansing souls and erasing memories.
However, I don't want my memories to get erased.
I feel that my very existence is about to be consumed by that mysterious golden force.
I strongly tried to resist those energies. I felt so much pain that I was on the brink of giving up.
When suddenly, without me knowing, unreadable golden runes light around my soul.
These runes were much stronger than those golden energies as they suddenly form a whirlpool made of gold and suck all those golden energies.
Although, I felt some sort of change in my surroundings and the pain disappeared.
Before I could do anything, I felt my body start to get sucked by some kind of external force and my vision instantly turns dark as I lose consciousness.
The blue portal sucked me, and my situation was still unknown.
