From the Phelan Tower to the Western High Tower, to the Eastern High Tower. August had perused every available information on runic studies and knowledge. Of course higher levelled knowledge were beyond his clearance and he had no access to them but the basic information on runic studies were very voluminous, foundational and informative as well.
During his battle with the Purple Crow Sorceress, he used several rank-0 wind runes to guide his spiritual energy, forming nodes that allowed him to unleash his pristine spiritual energy and the power of his semi-wind elemental imprint. The runes he used were together part of a Pseudo First Grade runic array known as the Lesser Wind Elemental Gathering Array, a runic array that had the effect of suctioning wind elemental particles within its range towards itself.
