[Rachel's POV]
I was told that the army would be starting an operation soon, so I should stay out of sight. I complied, so I didn't expect to meet anyone, especially anyone this handsome.
"What's your name?"
Gold hair, fancy looking clothing and a shiny weapon. Even has the charisma to put it all together. Not bad. But why is someone like him talking to me?
I decided to answer tersely.
"Rachel."
He smiled. God, his smile was heavenly. I don't care about things like that but was still a little dazed.
"Rachel, huh? I can see that you're at the First Tier at such a young age. How come?"
I nodded slowly. Judging from what he was saying, he was only interested in my apparent 'talent'.
"Don't bother trying to act nice. I'm a defect. My potential is so weak that I broke through quite easily."
"Is that so?"
He didn't sound scornful. He looked down at me.
