Lily walked slowly on her way to school, her mind still lingering on the words her father had just said about her future plans.
She had entered the academy to find the answer to this question, but as graduation loomed, she still hadn't found it.
"What to do in the future? Find a stable job like Maya, live on, and then find an ordinary husband like mom and have children?"
When Lily thought of this, she shook her head vigorously; this was definitely not the future she wanted.
"Use my power to protect Hope Island? Become everyone's Guardian? But the problem is, the seas are calm now, and the biggest commotion is just friction between the Governors; the Explorer Association can manage it well. I'm not needed."
Unknowingly, she had arrived at the academy gate. She thought for a moment before walking in.
Seeking her goal in life, she realized her previous knowledge was useless in this regard; she had to think of solutions from another direction.
