"Dad? What's wrong?" Shanshan sensed her father's unusual reaction, and asked with a hint of worry.
"This feeling, I don't know how to describe it to you, but something's not right." Charles pushed open the window, frowning as he gazed towards the endless darkness on the ocean horizon.
Suddenly, Charles heard a voice of his own, sounding extremely serious.
"Everyone, come to my Plane at once, there's a very serious situation here."
Upon hearing the call from another Plane version of himself, Charles gently pushed Shanshan away, "Stay here for a moment, I need to leave, someone is looking for me. It's been years, always bad news, hopefully this is good news."
Charles walked within his own private room, his worn boots producing a crisp sound against the floor.
When he reached the end, a door slowly revealed itself on the smooth wall, behind it was a dusty stairwell.
