Feierbahah's youthful face broke into a brilliant smile at Charles. "Yeah, when SITE2 came down, I never thought I'd actually survive. Maybe that's just luck."
Charles stared through thick glass at the Narwhal in the distance, now gradually surrounded by depth charges. "Why did you come to me? Don't tell me you're here to beg for mercy?"
Something seemed to cross Feierbahah's mind, and the bright smile on his face dimmed, but quickly bloomed again. "Captain, you've won. The Central Computer is gone, the Foundation is no longer your match, but do you really have to wipe them out to the last?"
Charles gave a slight flick of both heads as he swam up to the barely one meter-tall Feierbahah, towering over him like a giant.
He looked at the always cheerful Feierbahah on board the Narwhal; remembered him cuddling a red shark in the sea and laughing idiotically, cheating at cards in the cabin, "Do you think I will?"
