On the expansive deck of the Unicorne, Ada smoked while calmly watching the pitch-dark sea in front of him.
"The sea breeze is so strong at three in the morning, why come here to smoke?" a familiar voice arose from behind him.
Cigarette in mouth, Ada turned his head toward the voice and saw a man standing next to a giant Key, almost as huge as the aircraft carrier's tower, dressed in a crisp military uniform.
The middle-aged man with a scruffy beard had eyes filled with determination.
Ada shook his cigarette pack at the man. "West, want one?"
"No thanks, I don't smoke." West walked up beside Ada, looking out at the undulating dark sea.
"Nightmare again?" Ada looked towards his old friend who had enlisted with him.
West seemed reluctant to answer, but ultimately he nodded emphatically.
"I dreamed about the Captain and the others. This time in my dream, it was Feierbahah who pushed me."
Ada sneezed and wiped the tears from the corner of his eye.
