Chapter 94 - Chapter 94- Dealing with Cersei Lannister.

[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]

Third Person POV.

Kingsland.

...

...

"Please, my queen, it's already late. You should rest."

The master did not stop murmuring as he watched the king sleeping on his cot, after Master Pycelle had removed the arrow and begun treating his leg wound.

He had to give him milk of the poppy so the king would sleep, as Joffrey had screamed in pain. The queen never left his side, watching him with concern even as he slept.

"I don't want to leave my Joffrey." She muttered in a tired tone, though there was still a hint of anger in her voice.

"My queen, you see, he is out of danger now. It would be best if you went to rest." Pycelle insisted, and she finally nodded, leaving the room with a Kingsguard escorting her to her chambers.

"How are Tommen and Myrcella?" she asked the Kingsguard.

"They are well, my queen. There is a Kingsguard for each of them, despite our reduced numbers. With Commander Selmy still unconscious, we managed to keep one for each royal member." He replied, and Cersei nodded. Of the seven Kingsguard, two had been killed, and one was unconscious, leaving only four.

She entered her chambers with a sigh, finding a bath already prepared for her by the servants. She removed her clothes, still stained with her own son's blood, and finally seemed to be relaxing after all that hell.

She still remembered that after they had left the Sept, a snowstorm had appeared out of nowhere like an explosion. She could see from a distance how the snow swirled around the front of the Great Sept of Baelor. Then, when they arrived at the castle, an explosion of flames erupted, burning part of the city. She could still see the signs of fire and smoke through her window while men worked tirelessly to contain the chaos.

She only sighed and returned to scooping water from her bath, splashing it onto her face, deep in thought.

"And to think that this book is still here after everything..."

A voice suddenly broke the silence, alerting Cersei, who quickly turned her gaze to the side.

Sitting on a chair near the window, a man was holding the book she had confiscated from the Tower of the Hand after Lord Stark was declared a traitor and imprisoned. Cersei had kept the book of noble lineages in her chambers but had paid little attention to it afterward. Now, it was in the hands of a stranger—and she recognized him immediately.

"Guards! Quickly! The king's assassin is here!"

She screamed with all the strength she could muster, her voice distorting as her throat twisted. All she wanted at that moment was to see that man imprisoned or dead. If he was there, it meant he could have also killed her son upon entering the castle. That thought terrified her even more.

However, the man merely raised an eyebrow, and nothing happened.

"What is going on?!" she screamed, starting to feel afraid. "Guards! Come!"

Once more, she forced her throat to its limits, but as before, no one answered her cries.

"No one will come, if you must know." The stranger spoke, looking at her with amusement, as if mocking her.

"What did you do?! What are you?! You're a monster!"

She murmured before screaming again for her guards, but the door remained intact, showing no sign that anyone had heard her.

"What can I say...? If I told you what I am, you wouldn't believe me." Jon said calmly.

"You're a bastard! A monster! You came here to kill us all! I swear you won't get away with this! My father won't allow it! He will avenge us, and you, along with everyone you know, will be brutally slaughtered!"

She spat, her voice filled with pure hatred. If there was anyone she hated more at that moment, she could not remember, for this man had done nothing but harm her and her family so far.

Her precious Joffrey was bedridden because of him.

This man... he was a king wounded by a bastard, filthy and unworthy.

Yet, her words only brought a smile to the Dragonborn's face.

"Big words. Tell me, is your son a god or something for you to be so incredulous about the consequences of your actions? I don't think so. And even if he were a god, I still wouldn't care much about ripping off a leg."

Jon spoke as he closed the book and placed it on the table near the window in front of him.

Cersei didn't know what to say in the face of that stranger. She only stared at him, wishing to kill him.

"What do you want?! To kill me? Do you intend to kill my son?"

She asked, standing up from the bathtub without caring that she was naked, still trembling with rage as she faced Jon.

"I will kill him, yes, if that's what you're wondering. And do you think I care about what you and your father think?"

Jon replied, his gaze taking on a dangerous gleam.

Then, he raised his hand, and Cersei let out a strangled gasp as she felt her neck being squeezed by an invisible force.

Her body was hurled against the wall near the bathtub, suspended in the air as she desperately tried to breathe.

She struggled, completely naked, feeling terror grow inside her as she saw Jon merely raising his hand, as if he held her very life between his fingers.

The fear she felt in that moment was unlike anything she had ever experienced before.

She could barely utter a word, and Jon continued to tighten his invisible grip on her throat.

"Most people think I would be afraid of them. But you know... if I wanted to kill you right now, it would even be interesting. However, it wouldn't be as fun as it could be. After all, true conquest comes at the right moment."

Jon spoke with boredom in his voice, as if pinning the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms against the wall while she was naked, with no effort at all, was something tedious for him.

He remained there for a few seconds, watching as Cersei struggled, trying to breathe. Her eyes were wide, almost pleading for mercy.

Then, without warning, Jon simply released his grip.

Cersei fell from nearly two meters high, her legs hitting the floor with a painful impact. A tired and desperate scream escaped her lips as her body struck the cold ground.

She began coughing violently, trying to regain the air her lungs so desperately craved.

She remained there for a few seconds, breathing heavily, before lifting her eyes to Jon. But now, the hatred had been replaced by a deep fear.

"What do you want from us?"

She murmured, her voice weak.

"What I want is very simple."

Jon began, his voice firm and relentless.

"What I want... is revenge."

He declared.

Cersei remained there, unable to say a word.

But Jon continued, knowing exactly what that frightened look of hers was questioning.

"I want revenge against your father and all those who destroyed my family. I intend to eradicate the name Lannister from this world. I will make sure that Tywin Lannister, who thought he had raised his family to heights no ancestor ever had, watches it all crumble. I want him to be the last one standing, witnessing his house's name being erased."

"All because he made an enemy he cannot fight."

"Even if it was done indirectly, that enemy will destroy him. He will advance against him, even if he has to kill every single Lannister. Perhaps we can deal with the children more peacefully, send them to the Night's Watch or the Silent Sisters, but the Lannister name will never rise again in Westeros."

Jon spoke each word laden with conviction, looking at Cersei with interest, as if daring her to question him.

"Why? What have we done to you?" she murmured, stammering. "Your family is the Starks!"

"Not necessarily." Jon replied coldly. "Half of my lineage comes from the Starks. The other half... is the one your father destroyed. But he didn't manage to kill all of them, and the worst of them is still alive and knows the truth of what happened..."

Jon paused before continuing.

"That's why I want you to understand something: from this night on, you will never have a peaceful night again. Fear for your miserable life, built on lies and corruption."

Jon spoke with cutting coldness. He knew this woman had killed the king. He knew she was raising royal bastards. Cersei was rotten to the soul, but that mattered little to him.

"I'm leaving... but I will return."

He stood up, taking a few steps forward while Cersei, consumed by pure fear, tried to move away, her back hitting the wall behind her. There was no more arrogance in her gaze, only terror.

But suddenly, she felt her body being lifted into the air once again as the stranger, once more, raised his hand.

"I must admit, this game is getting very interesting. I've heard a lot about your 'Game of Thrones'... But how about I change that name to the 'Dragonborn's Game'?"

He smiled, while Cersei remained trapped, powerless, watching him with horror.

"Besides, your attempts to incriminate me haven't been very effective. But honestly, I don't like it when someone tries to defame me, even if some things are true... That was a mistake I can't ignore, Cersei Lannister."

He declared, his finger beginning to glow.

She felt a shiver of pure horror run down her spine as she watched the stranger draw strange symbols in the air.

She tried to move away, but she couldn't do anything.

He touched her, tracing signs that she could barely see from her angle.

"As I said, I won't let you get away easily. I'm burying within you all the pleasure you could feel with your body. After all, you love being promiscuous—I highly doubt you'll continue to be now... I want you to remember me when you realize you feel nothing anymore. Only rage. Only hatred. Until you go completely insane."

He whispered.

Cersei tried to scream, but it was in vain.

Her body began to burn from within, and slowly, her consciousness faded in the midst of unbearable pain.

"I must admit, you even hired a faceless assassin to eliminate me. I'll be going after him once I leave here. And I'm curious about his courage... I've heard a lot about the faceless assassins, that they have a strong connection with their god. I want to know what he thinks of me."

Jon spoke with an amused tone, while all Cersei could do was watch as darkness consumed her vision.

Gradually, everything went completely black—until, suddenly, she heard his voice again.

"Oh, and one more thing... The Ned that is here is not my father."

He said, as Cersei fell completely into darkness.

Suddenly, everything brightened.

Cersei sat up in her bed, startled, letting out a muffled scream.

The doors to her chambers flew open.

"My queen! Did something happen?"

One of the Kingsguard rushed in, looking at her with concern.

Cersei looked at him, dazed, then turned her gaze to the window.

The sun was beginning to rise on the horizon, but dark clouds still loomed in the sky. Part of the city was still in ruins.

"I..."

She murmured, feeling the weight of what she had just experienced.

The guard hesitated before speaking again.

"My queen... I should leave. You are naked."

Only then did she realize that she was covered only by sheets, part of her breasts exposed. Reflexively, she quickly pulled the fabric up to cover herself.

"Get out now!"

She screamed, and the Kingsguard nodded before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

Cersei was left alone, trembling, her world spinning around her.

Jon's last words echoed in her mind.

He had said he would take away her pleasures.

Immediately, she moved her hand between her legs, desperately searching to feel something.

But the truth struck her like a cold blade.

She felt nothing but the cold touch of her own fingers.

No pleasure.

Nothing.
