The holidays. Such blessed days are within the tiring school days which seem to last oy a couple of days even though they are at least a week or two. This holiday is only a week long.
As usual, I didn't have many plans however I was sure of it that this week holds many opportunities. I spent my Saturday doing nothing and I plan to spend my Sunday the same.
As I lay down on my bed, looking up at the ceiling and thinking about new concepts and ideas my phone vibrated on the nightstand causing my train of thought to be interrupted. I looked at my phone's screen and read the name. I picked up my phone and brought it close to my ear.
"Yo, Tadashi." Akito said through the phone.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Come to the cafe at 6 o'clock. It's just gonna be the two of us, don't bring any of the others." Akito said before hanging up.
With my past experiences with these types of things, I can infer that Akito is telling me to come to a cafe however knowing Akito it won't be just the two of us. Harumi and Kaori will also be there along with several others.
I sighed in my bed, cherishing the last moments of peace I had before I had to actually do things.
I guess there's going to be some excitement in my life now.
I got up from my bed and got changed. I don't think too much about the things I wear, I only pick clothes which don't attract too much attention such as too expensive clothes or clothes which are too flashy or clothes which are too dull.

"Ah, Tadashi, you're here at last!" Nakamoto squealed as she ran towards me and put her arms out before she hugged me.
I watched her body slowly grow closer and closer to my body. I had to endure the urge of dodging her or attacking her but I couldn't with all of my classmates watching and my relationship with Nakamoto would be destroyed or weakened.
After a few moments of waiting she finally grabbed my body and hugged it. It lasted only a few seconds but felt like an eternity. An eternity of physical contact which I disliked.
"Good morning, Nakamoto-san." I said, greeting her in the best way I could.
"Morning? It's already the afternoon." Nakamoto giggled.
Exactly as I planned.
"Oh, I didn't realise." I said as Nakamoto giggled.
Too much socialising.
Nakamoto then grabbed my hand and led me to the table where everyone sat down at. Akito, Harumi, and Kaori were already here however others were also here. Yamada, Shimoda, Takemoto, Nakamoto, and Tashiro Yuuji, the Vice President.
Four seats were on either side of the table and one person sat at the end of the table, Tashiro Yuuji. I sat down opposite Nakamoto who smiled at me for a brief moment and then turned her attention to the Vice President. I also turned my head to him.
"Now that everyone is here, I can start." Tashiro said as we all listened attentively. "As some of you know that some students are joining late this year and one of those students is Yatogami Yumi."
Everyone's expression changed in a way that would only be seen on the battlefield. Yamada and Shimoda's faces showed more animosity than the fear portrayed on Nakamoto and Takemoto's faces. Harumi, Akito, and Kaori didn't show much emotion which meant that they didn't know Yatogami as much.
"Yu..mi…" Shimoda muttered.
"Oh, she's joining." Yamada hissed.
It was clear that Yatogami wasn't liked.
"Yes, she is and I need you guys to make a plan on how to control her." Tashiro added.
If that's the case then the only people supposed to be here are Yamada, Shimoda, Kaori, and me. The others are only here to gather the ones needed. If that is also the case then I am considered an intelligent student and Kaori's intellect has been discovered by the Student Council. She will likely be recommended to the Student Council however she wouldn't join it because that's just how Kaori is.
Something the Student Council hasn't realised is Akito's intelligence. He may not be the brightest student however, but the entrance exams were based on academics and other types of intelligence however they were only tests on paper. Given any situation, Akito will be able to adapt to it and analyse his surroundings for survival and his physical abilities will do nothing except help him in it.
Nakamoto is also intelligent in a way as she has been through many things such as kidnappings. Her ability to stay as optimistic in any given scenario is also unique and her way to adapt to it will also help her in many future events.
I don't know much about Takemoto only that he is academically gifted and he is also a super grandmaster in chess which means his spatial intelligence must be above average. Other types of intelligence will also be highly above average and Takemoto will prove in it the near future.
Harumi is also insanely intelligent however her methods aren't always what any normal person would use. I am sure that her dark side will be exposed as for now she can stay the way she is. I can push her to become stronger and when she learns how to utilise her abilities which she naturally learnt then she could surpass many students in this academy. She did try to manipulate me on the first day so that could prove something. For now, I can push my pawn to promotion.
Yatogami Yumi is someone I do know. Although I do not know her personally there is information about her that I do know. I can also observe the impact she has on Yamada and Shimoda and through my observations, she isn't any normal person. Her files were nothing of the ordinary—she had done things normal people wouldn't be able to do in a lifetime.
At the age of three, she already learnt six languages and was fluent in every single one which was more than the five languages Shimoda had learnt when she was also three. They had always been rivals since the day they met. Both being from two elite families meant that there was a lot of competition between them and the pressure from their own family and their pride may have made them into the so-called enemies they are now.
The only thing I knew about Yatogami was that she was a mathematical prodigy and she had learnt six languages at the age of three. That much would suffice as now I can gain more information on her through many others.
"I will leave you guys to discuss your plans." Tashiro said before getting up and leaving us.
It wasn't shocking that Akito was the first to speak. Akito would be successful as a detective.
"I'm sorry but I didn't understand when Tashiro-senpai said to "control" Yatogami-san." Akito asked. He didn't understand but he is trying to confirm what Tashiro meant.
"When he said "control" he meant to control." Yamada explained. "Yumi…Yatogami-san isn't someone who will join this academy solely to graduate—"
"Her philosophy is to cause chaos around her." Shimoda interrupted.
"Cause…chaos…" Harumi muttered.
It wasn't loud but Harumi had muttered something. Although she sat the furthest away from me I could still hear it however Shimoda and Yamada didn't hear. It was strange as if they haven't even acknowledged her.
"So how do we control her?" Nakamoto asked. It wasn't in her normal cheerful tone. It reminded me of how Kaori spoke when we were alone.
"It's simple." Kaori spoke out, and everyone's attention turned to her. "We could plan out a scenario where she could fall for someone then she wouldn't cause any more trouble."
"By "falling for someone" you mean?" Takemoto asked. For something as simple as that to not be uttered by anyone else other than Kaori wasn't surprising.
"By "falling for someone" I mean exactly what I mean; she develops feelings for them."
"That would work however we have to pick a person for it." Akito added.
I already knew what would happen. Sometimes I didn't like the fact that voting determined things such as this. It didn't need any words just a few looks from the majority.
"Me?" I said as I watched them communicate with each other in their heads.
"EH? TSUKAMOTO-KUN?" Nakamoto was obviously enraged that I had to make a girl fall for me. "NOT HIM!!"
"Fine then, we'll vote who it will be then." Shimoda suggested. No one declined it however the outcome didn't change.
"6-2." Akito said as he smiled at me. I could tell from his face that he was laughing inside. "It's alright Tadashi, we're here to help you."
"She does like quiet and intelligent boys so I guess you tick all the boxes." Shimoda added.
I didn't mind it only because it benefitted me. Yatogami clearly had a lot of potentials and if she was how she is portrayed then she could be a useful pawn.
"Alright then, I guess I can't argue after there was a fair vote." I said. "I'll be going back to my dormitory." I said as I got up from my seat and left the cafe.
I expected someone to follow me and someone did. I saw from the corner of my eye, Nakamoto's white miniskirt fluttering in the wind.
"Nakamoto-san, what are you doing here?" I asked her. "Did you follow me?"
"O-Of course not!" Nakamoto's face beat red and it was visible that she was startled.
She will be useful in the future.
I then walked up to her. Growing closer and closer to her. I then put my hand on her shoulder which caused her face to become completely red. I then moved some of her light brown hair over her ear.
"You don't have to worry about me, I won't fall for someone like Yatogami-san." I said as I smiled at her.
F**k! I'm cringing!
"W-W-W-What do you mean? I-I-I wasn't worrying!" She said as she ran away.
I won.
I then walked back to my dormitory to spend the rest of the hours with myself.
