"Avram, I know you enjoy jokes, but is this really the time?"
"I meant what I said. My three apprentices, behind me, spent the majority of their time researching how to help people with difficult curses. If anyone can figure out a solution to this, it's the three of them."
The three idiots quickly run up behind Avram and grab him. Then, as Gheorghe holds him steady, Ivana and Wadim start choking him. Wadim, moments away from his heart imploding, says, "You asshole!"
Ivana says, "After all the effort we put into raising Iancu, you try to kill us like this."
Gheorghe says, "Setting us up for failure on both a national and historic level is too much."
Stiprais, with anger leaking from his every orifice, says, "Stop with the nonsense, Avram. You think my sweetheart Ivana could do something so complicated? How ridiculous."
Veekeeris adds, "You not only kidnapped our children but are trying to get them to end the life of our are Queen, I think we might just execute you right now."
Wadim steps in front of them, then grabs Avram's head and forces him to bow repeatedly while saying, "Sorry, this stupid brain-dead, asshole boss doesn't know anything, ignore him!"
Forcing his head up, Avram smacks, "Wadim, Ivana, and Gheorghe all on their foreheads and says, "It seems like you three have forgotten I am your boss. Just because I have been enjoying myself doesn't mean you get to question me."
Pointing their finger at Avram's face, they say, "WE NO LONGER TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY AFTER ORB HAS REINFECTED YOU WITH HAPPINESS! SHUT UP!"
The three start to fight against their boss, and Vėja says, "Stop with this nonsense, you have all taken this joke a step too far. What haven't you dishonoured in this country, Avram? The idea that you would even think that this incompetent fool could ever work on the Queen's body, even for a moment, is utterly ridiculous."
Turning to face them, Avram's voice goes deep for a moment, and he yells, "MY DREAMERS ATTENTION!!!!"
All three of them instantly shape up their posture behind Avram, and with a smile, he says, "You are to fix the Queen's current condition. Based on your current idea's what is wrong with her? How do you fix this? And what do you need?"
In a voice far more orderly and powerful than normal, Ivana says, "The Queen's current condition seems to be as Avram has said, her curse turning against her body. Due to the lack of any outside contact and the suddenness of the situation, I can only suspect that some of the blood she drank 3 years ago destabilised her body. One of the newborns didn't mesh well with her. Since the Queen curse requires her to take in the blood of every single citizen within Blestemate, that can only be the situation."
Wadim, in a similar tone, says, "To fix her, we will have to examine the inside of her body and then find the organ she uses to store the blood she takes in from every single citizen due to her curse, and then remove the specific child's blood. To my knowledge, I heard all of the blood she absorbed is stored in the muscle fibres of her heart in an extremely dense bundle. We will shave off a bit of the muscles inside her heart and absorb it."
Gheorghe, in a deep voice, says, "To do this, we will primarily use our curses, but to have a view of the inside of her body, we will need the scanner we made for you guys all that time ago so we can see where it is. The chances of pulling this off successfully depend on how much blood she has taken in since then and the inner workings of her body. We assume the blood recently absorbed is on the other side of her heart. But if we are wrong and they all blend perfectly into the heart, we can't do anything."
Avram, with a smile, says, "CEASE!"
The three of them try to catch their breath as the five in front of them look on with amazement. Avram, with a smile, says, "See, I told you these 3 were good."
They grab him yet again, and Ivana says, "You promised you'd never do that to us again!"
Wadim says, "Those trigger words bring back up all the sleepless nights we had when we arrived in Elpída, and you treated us like slaves!"
Gheorghe says, "Those horrific days were too much! I don't understand why you'd do that to us again!"
Φ Stelara, turning her face to the three Ministers beside her, says, "What do you think?"
Collecting themselves, they think for a moment, and Vėja says, "This is nonsense. So what if they can regurgitate words on common, it's not like that means they can operate successfully, and besides they even in a perfect world, they don't know how the Queen's curse works. If they operate on her heart without that knowledge, it could kill her."
Stiprais says, "I agree. Right now, we shouldn't rush to think like this; any action to her in her current state could kill her."
Veekeeris says, "Letting our Queen die in such a place like a dog would be a far greater crime than letting the city burn to the ground."
Orlok, ignoring the four's conversations, walks forward and asks, "Can you really do it?"
The three idiots quickly hide behind, Avram and Stiprais says, "Orlok, what are you do-."
"BE QUIET! I asked a question. Can you three do it?"
Ivana, trembling, says, "Maybe, but that's only if the rumours about the Queen's heart are true."
"They are. When she takes in a citizen's blood, it takes a couple of decades for it to integrate deeply into her heart. It should be around the top of it, but are you sure you can do it safely?"
Wadim says, "With my curse, I can essentially remove only that part of her heart, but like I said, it will be incredibly difficult, and there is a chance that with her body in its current state, any damage to her heart could be fatal."
Stiprais says, "You hear that, Orlok. They could kill her, it isn't worth you. As the man who has stayed the longest at her side, you should know not to try this."
Vėja says, "We have a duty to honour are Queen above all else, she is the beacon that has guided us forward, and cannot be allowed to be disgraced."
Turning to face them, Orlok says, "Cease with your idol worship. It's for reasons like that the Messiah has put the Queen in such a situation. Right now, we need to get her up so she can fight."
Veekeeris says, "Then we should focus on trying to get our abilities to fight back. With the five of our curses, we try to fight back against the wave of invaders. You need to stop with your selfish desire to try and push the responsibility of this onto the Queen. She has given so much for this land, so let blood spill in turn for her.
As rage rises in Orlok, he prepares to grab his sword, though he stops as the words "YOU'RE WRONG!" come out of Stelara at the three of them.
Lowering her head, she says, "Mihai, Gabriela, Rihards, Kristine, Jonas, Domas, Liis, Annika, Alexandru, Ioana, Edgars, Liga, Anete, Matas, Lukas, Maris, Triin, Kristijan, Mart. I've known them since they were born, and all of them wanted to live their lives honouring and serving the Queen daily activities. Keeping her company even when all of us were busy. None of them deserved to die like this, and I know for a fact the Queen would agree with this. I haven't spent as long with her as Orlok has, but I am sure if she were conscious, she would say something like, 'I don't care what happens to me, just make sure my people are safe.' That's the type of woman she was, and if she thought there was even a low chance of this succeeding, she would agree to it."
Calming down, Orlok says, "To the three of you, the Queen is some kind of God, and I can see how you feel that way about her, many due. But in truth, she is a person. Someone who, in the 710 years I have lived, has seen as a normal person just like us all here. The reason she has protected us for so long is that she loves us that deeply. To honour her isn't to protect her life at the expense of our citizenry, but to live her ideals, which are to sacrifice yourself for your people. If you deny the value in that, you deny the value in her. And now three people who have been nurtured by the country she formed have appeared and brought a plan to save her. That you look down on this, you three should be ashamed."
Turning to the three idiots, he says, "So I ask again, can you three save the Queen, if everything you need is given?"
She sees the sincerity in the eyes of the strongest and most ancient Nightmare standing in the room, the three of them swallow their spit, and say, "We can try!"
Nodding his head in happiness, Orlok says, "I am happy to hear that, now who should we send to claim the necessary items, becau-."
As members of Blamator rush into the room, Orlok moves and cuts them down with one swing, and then falls to one knee. Stelara, running up beside him, grabs his body and says, "I knew you weren't in top form. You've already passed the expected age of death for a Blestdrac, and the weight must be killing you. Please rest."
"I can't do that. I need to make sure that no one kills the Queen. So I can't rest or leave here. So we need to send someone else."
Willow, stepping forward, says, "I will go. I can use spirit energy, so I should be able to grab it."
Orlok's eyes fall on Willow, and he says, "No, you're too weak."
Gripping his clothes, Willow says, "I am no-."
"WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR CHILDISH RAMBLING!" He shouts, shutting Willow up.
Avram, coming beside Willow, says, "I will go, with Willow supporting me."
Stelara says, "Avram, you're not a combatant."
"Yet I am a Blestadrac, I can still hold my own, and with all the blood scattered everywhere, I will have far more options than not."
Orlok, standing up, grabs Avram and bites his neck, causing Avram to grab and try to rip away the grown man, to no avail, yet he stops as his body starts to shake.
Pulling back, Orlok drops Avram, who falls to the ground. Willow, grabbing his shoulder, says, "Avram, what's wrong?"
Avram pushes the palm of his hand against the floor, and a crater appears beneath him. Staring down at them both, Orlok says, "Blestadrac are as strong as the amount of blood within them. I have put enough of mine within your body to make you as strong as a 3rd seat of the Cursed Heart Army. You should be able to get our equipment and bring it back. The original one you sent us is located in the storage room of the castle, as a framed gift."
Standing up with immense vigour, Avram says, "I feel utterly amazing, like I could defeat even the Queen herself."
Grabbing Willow, he rushes out of the room, and as another member of Blamator rushes in, with a single punch, he smashes them right into the floor, before running off.
Stelara shouts, "DON'T OVEREXERT YOURSELF, YOUR MUSCLES AREN'T USED TO THAT MUCH BLOOD, THEY MIGHT BURST BEFORE THEY CAN ADAPT!"
Sitting down, Orlok says, "It seems we have to put our hopes in them. Ministers, go look after the injured. Your kids should start planning out how their operation will go. Now everyone, get to work!"
