Seeing that the inmates survived the blast. It decided to change tactics now. If the scum could survive a blast, what about the people whom it wants dead?
A chance for survival is a chance for survival. It wanted them not to survive. As it thought of a new way to try and attack the inmates.
Scratches began to appear on the body. This made the parasite very mad. It knew the ones attacking it now were meant to kill it.
"Listen closely, we have to leave here immediately. Blast whatever you want and make an escape back to where we came from." The parasite ordered.
"Why should I?" The Charged Beast answered.
"Because the people attacking you are meant to poison and kill us." The parasite answered.
This caused a major upset for the Charged Beast. Now, it has to survive too much to be able to leave the Shadow Realm.
The assassins felt a little better when the Royal Soldiers appeared. They were not directly tied to any person but they were the Shadow Realm's Royal protectors.
Royal Guards usually change in the Shadow Realm due to whom becomes the Shadow Queen or King. These guys always stay low key within the cities that they are supposed to protect.
Granted, when Rex entered in the past. They tried to attack him but the attacks just naturally would not connect. This dishearted those Royal Soldiers.
Seeing that their blades can and will actually slice through the armor. They immediately felt that Rex was someone whom the Shadow Realm should have never targeted.
In the distance, people were being evacuated. This was to ensure people safety and as much living as possible.
The nobles were the last line of defense. So they had to watch as normal people were evacuated first and this greatly upset them. Even the people controlling the Shadow King were not spared first entry. On the consorts, Shadow Queen, a couple of the Royal Guards, and the youngest of the noble families were allowed entry first.
The Shadow King was not going to allow a beast to just break out of prison and do whatever it likes.
"Everyone, I know you are upset with my decision. However, your youngest is protected. Those of age that can fight stay, otherwise head to the shelter.
Today, we are fighting amongst ourselves. Today, we are fighting the creation of something that should have never been created under the influence of ourselves.
The beast is the armor in which we the Shadow King and nobility wanted and now it wants us dead.
If you are upset with my decision, by all means head towards the outer city limit and see how the assassins under me are keeping it under wraps!" The Shadow King declared.
Everyone looked around. Realizing that it was indeed those who wished for the creation of a more powerful beast that they are here now.
Allowing their normal stance to be reevaluated, they decided to take a stand. Even the puppeteers of the Shadow King were upset at this declaration. They had to survive in order to keep manipulating the people and the Shadow King.
Even as thought about it, there was nothing stopping them from becoming paste in the street with such powerful people by them. So they had to play the long game and get the Royal Soldiers to kill the Shadow King to release them from this filthy battle.
In just a moment after the Shadow King finished his statement, an explosion rocked the limits of the city.
The massive amount of destruction was an eye opener for the nobility. This is what they truly wanted to bring to the table. Having it in their face was absolutely horrid.
The Charged Beast made its way straight forward. It was trying to find the way back to the Realms in order to bring destruction there.
The Shadow King and the nobles stood right in its way. This standoff was something that the parasite could not afford to drag on.
"Alright listen, I need control of the body to ensure that we can escape. I know you want destruction but there is something that only I can do. Do you trust me?" The parasite asked the Charged Beast.
The Charged Beast did not particularly trust the parasite but as long as a good explosion rocked the city it was fine with handing control back over.
"Time to dance like a flower." The parasite had the eyes glow green.
