As the fighting in the Ninth Realm came to a satisfying, joyous, and harmonious end for the time being. The Demon Realm was looking similar to the Fifth Realm when it was destroyed.
Magma pools eating the cracked ground. The fight between this Charged Beast and Rex did not happen close to Lilith's Mansion. However, the magma pools were slowly converging unto it. Rex did not know this or he would have already sent her land up into the sky.
Someone who did know this was the Demon God. He had protected the areas that could not be destroyed to ensure that everything went smoothly for those fighting in the Ninth Realm and for Rex.
As the fighting duo took a moment to sit down and recharge. They looked at the destruction around them. Magma bubbles popping like crazy, it slowly oozing around the Demon Realm. He thought maybe the Goddesses and Demon God had something to do about it.
There was no direct contact with Rex currently to know for certain what was actually happening. Suddenly, the duo realized that Heavenly Cultivators were entering the Demon Realm.
The Charged Beast upset but seeing as they were repairing the ground. It decided to hold back its fangs and claws.
The Heavenly Guard and Heavenly Soldier who would marry Rex appeared before the duo. In their hands, they each held a special scroll.
"This is an important message from the Heavenly Cultivators in the Fifth Realm." The Heavenly Soldier spoke before opening the scroll to read it, "The fighting in the Ninth Realm ended in a small victory for the humans, demi-humans, and demons in the Ninth Realm. However, because the beast was able to leave. It was not killed."
Rex was a little upset at that. The Charged Beast decided to help Rex with this problem. It could redirect the beast either to the same spot or close enough that it would face the problem again.
"The demon woman Lilith who is your onlu Soul Mate currently handed me this scroll from the Demon God." The Heavenly Guard spoke before opening the scroll, "My friend and Demon King Rex. Today is not a good day to destroy the Demon Realm. The Stairway conscious as asked if you would kindly move your fight to the First or Second Mortal Realm. This is because it is easier to rebuild those Realms than to rebuild the Demon Realm.
I am using my power to allow the cities and areas where the demons whom you rely on not to be destroyed. If you can but the Charged Beast does not want to. We can figure out what to do in that case. We truly need you to move if you can." The Heavenly Guard finished and handed both scrolls to Rex.
Rex read them to ensure that was spoken was true. Not that he needed a reason to believe what they told was a lie.
Reading the scrolls and seeing that the truths were written out. Rex had to think of another way to actually fight this beast.
Sure, he and the beast could use their bodies to tank damage and give double back. However, it would also cause the destruction of another Realm. Rex already having destroyed the Fifth Realm completely once. Seraphina and Luna having helped destroy it a second time. Now here against a Charged Beast that is ultimately stronger could destroy any Realm that they actually fight in.
"Well, let me ask you. Do you want a new life to live?" Rex asked.
The Charged Beast raised one eyebrow seemingly interested in the words being spoken.
"Either we fight and destroy everything in a Realm we live in or we come to a truce and prepare for the worst with the return of the beast that left. Of course, you and I can horseplay to ensure that those watching get a good view as well."
The Charged Beast smiled as it believed in Rex.
"There is a Shadow King and Shadow Queen living here in the Nine Mortal Realms. As for you, I will let decide where you want to live. Either with them or becoming a guardian that can move between the Realms.
I will not protest as this is what I am asking you which one you choose."
The Charged Beast did not know which one to choose.
All of this happened within a vision that was shared among the Stairway conscious, the Goddesses, and Demon God before Rex and that Charged Beast ever began to fight in the Demon Realm.
