Just an hour after the invasion of the Shadow People. The Shadow King asked for a report. Within minutes of asking ten people, he was able to get the results.
"Sire, there are different realms in where we are fighting.
The first is Nine Mortal Realms. The First and Second Realms had absolutely nothing worthy of us invading for. So those people were sent to assist in different Realms.
In the Third Realm, a giant underground cave appeared. Inside was a dragon and a lava pool. We lost that Realm in the fight.
In the Fourth Realm, a giant spider had made her home there. She allowed the himans in the Realm to survive but we were captured and lost that Realm.
We are fighting in the Fifth Mortal Realm the resources are decent enough for us to grow and become stronger."
A smile appeared on the Shadow King's face. He could overwhelm they and get a better foothold in that Realm.
"In the Sixth Realm, the Realm is nothing but forest. Most of the army is in hiding while those who do not mind sacrificing themselves keep the others from being seen are quite a few. We have obtained some resources from the Sixth Realm now."
The Shadow King wanted to see what resources had been gotten. Everyone could tell by the look in his eyes.
They presented him with a potion. It did not look like much but when he smelled the potion he knew that it would poison him but it was something worthy enough to catch the attention of the people inside so it must be enough to warrant a full expedition into getting these.
"Find all of these within the Realms that we are able to stand in. I believe these are potions to help heal the humans in those areas."
The people sent word before continuing.
"We are fighting in the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Mortal Realms. As we said before, they are not trying to kill us just knock them out and allow them to win like that."
This truly upset the Shadow King because prisoners of War is something that he does not the other way around.
"Now there is a Realm called the Demon Realm. We have not yet begun fighting but it is not that both armies are not wanting to fight. I believe they just want to wait and see how the War plays out."
This was a decent plan. If they lose, it would be better to leave unharmed then to be captured. He hated that thinking but since a lot of Shadow People had already been captured. This was not the time nor place to complain about people surviving and coming home.
"In the Heavenly Realms, there these places called Arunas. Instead of fighting in the traditional way, we are fighting in a one versus one and the winner gets the loser.
Since we won the first battle in the first three Heavenly Realms, if the himans get a win they get to retrieve one of their own.
In the Fourth and Fifth Heavenly Realms, since we lost the first one. If we get a win, we get to reclaim one of our captured brothers."
This was a pleasant surprise to the Shadow King. He was not for sure why but that seemed better than actually killing innocent lives and they get to live as well.
He knew better than most that if he were to fight in one of those battles. That fight would be to the death and there was no difference in that.
"Send word to the Realms that this is how we will do battle. As for the Demon Realm, we will negotiate that if we win the battles we get to claim that Realm. If we happen to lose the Realms, they come home without fighting." The Shadow King was pleased with this outcome from the Heavenly Realm.
Throughout the Mortal Realms, this became the way to fight by the end of the day. Of course, it would be hard and grueling. When no deaths could happen and the War is at its beginning. The Stairway conscious decided on another deal.
"For the Realms that the Shadow People have already been caught in. Those Realms are already lost. The people inside will have to work until a deciding factor can happen.
We do not mind the other Realms in their battles. Do not think that we will allow already lost Realms to be claimed immediately." The Stairway conscious sent the reply.
She did not think badly of this. She had already balanced out most of the Realms. What caught her attention currently was the Spider Queen Death sensing the fight in the Heavenly Realm with Deathholder vs a Shadow Commander.
The Stairway allowed the Spider Queen Death to visit that area. Here the battle was truly about to begin.
