Luna, Seraphina, the Spider Queen Death, Frulen, and Granter all kept around Rex. The first part was his protection and the second was because they did not know the layout of the Realms.
For the simple terms of strength none of the people from the Forbidden Worlds should have been able to enter the Mortal Realm. Since the Stairway was dealing with the Shadow People trying to invade currently. It was keeping all of the focus on them and keeping the truly ugliest of them out.
A couple of Shadow People were able to escape into the Mortal Realm because of the ugliest Shadow People. The Stairway hoped that by guiding them towards its nemesis they would not last long.
Sure enough, in front of Rex the Stairway opened. Rex knowing that this was not something that would happen naturally knew that this was bad.
Ten Shadow People appeared. The Spider Queen Death seemed to have her eyes glow a different shade than her normal black.
This froze the Shadow People long enough for Seraphina to burn them to a crisp. The Shadow People lost their first connection to the Mortal Realm.
The Stairway seemed happy to be able to stop this one but knew that since some had entered the Mortal Realm nothing would stop the weaker ones from entering.
Rex knew that the War would start earlier now that this happened. Quickly he and the group entered the Stairway.
"Stairway, I am going to a lot of lower Realms before Returning. Ensure that where I speak I am opened up to and any other intruders at first will be dealt with by me and this women." Rex spoke like the Stairway was a intellectual being.
This made the women weary of the Stairway. Their first stop was the Third Realm. To show all of them the major difference of the Realms.
When they were about to exit. Rex asked to be dropped off outside his town.
The Stairway opened up and walking out there was a town. Rex told Seraphina that inside the town was a house that she could stay in just tell the people where Rex's house is.
The group actually tried to taste the air. This made no sense to Rex. That was until they explained that they were trying to see if there was any energy just floating around like in the Realm they originally in.
Rex told them that this is truly the beginning of cultivation in the Mortal Realm. Gathering the pieces for one's Dantian and little cultivation is done in the Second is nothing when one enters the Third Realm.
"Most people who truly enter this Realm want to become powerful. There are some that have to cultivate just to a Realm for a Soul Mate." Rex explained.
This made since to them. They really did not want to protect this Realm after hearing that this was basically the beginning of the cultivation journey.
Seraphina decided to go underground. She would use her powers to allow the Shadow People to enter the magma pool under the Realm.
She found a small ledge and casually spread her senses across the ground level to ensure that when she was feeling the energy from the Shadow People death awaited them in the form of magma.
Meanwhile
The group had entered the Fourth Realm. The air tasted slightly better but still not enough to truly be able to go all out for the Spider Queen Death.
She too had to come up with a plan. She decided that since she had a body to follow the energy patterns from. She would send them to her instead of outright fighting them above ground.
The Spider Queen Death already accepted that this was her Realm and would not allow the evil Shadow People to harm any town or most of the people of she could help it.
Once the crew was gone, she found a cloud and gently landed on it. Transforming into her spider form she shot out thousands upon thousands of energy infused threads and made a web that encompassed the entire Realm.
She had used her energy to ensure that whichever Shadow People tried to enter would get stuck within her web. Of course, she had to be the highest spot and could add levels to her web but for now this was enough.
This took her an entire day within the Realms to do. By the time she was done, everyone else had already been placed and ready for War.
Meanwhile
The next stop was within the Sixth Realm. The air tasted much better to the women. Instead of a forest being seen up front. It looked exactly like the area they were in the Ninth Realm.
Rex asked for directions towards Violet and Life-giver. One of the disciples led the way. He hoped to get some kind of reward. When they appeared before a ran down building.
Rex told the disciple to wait outside. He did not know if the people were inside or not. Walking into a degraded house was not on his buckle list. He decided to do it for Luna.
The duo walked inside. Frulen and Granter decided to wait outside to kill the disciple if he had lied to their Master of the Game Board.
In the span of the heartbeat, yelling was heard. Luna laughed inside the building, Life-giver stormed the house, and Rex felt like a different person.
Violet did not think that a man much less Eex would appear when she was changing into a battle uniform.
Her yelling was simply because she did not think anyone else would try and come into the house. Once she calmed down and looked at Rex. She was glad that it was no one else.
Life-giver saw Rex and Luna and wanted to know what happened.
Rex explained that Violet was changing and did not lock the door. He had scared her because she did not realize he was there.
The Life-giver and Luna laughed this off. He told everyone else about his plan for the Sixth Realm.
"Luna here is a fairy. I believe it would be best to allow her to use her powers to kill the Shadow People here. While everyone else uses their Qi to protect and guide Luna to where she is needed." Rex told them.
Violet came out fully dressed ready for the War but with this discussion it seemed like she was not going to be useful.
Rex allowed her to cry slightly but assured her that this was because she had more power and could even guide enemies into traps if need be.
