As the group looked around, another woman now had entered the room. She wore a maid outfit, had a pair of what looked like sleek sunglasses, and a tentacles for legs.
"I am higher Maid. Please to meet the fools who think that the game board can be destroyed." She spoke.
Rex looked at her as if she had grown a third eye. She did not care nor did she care that the other women were extremely powerful. She knew she was invincible while the current Game Master was alive.
She looked as if she was about to speak when shadows wrapped around her tentacles and mouth.
"I am already upset that more women and children appeared in my room. Whoever the fuck you are, you better explain it properly this time." The Shadow Queen whispered in the shadows.
The Shadow Queen slowly let the shadows go around her cheeks and hold her arms.
The higher Maid smiled as she tried to lift her tentacles only to find that was impossible to do.
"What in the hell are these shadows?" The higher Maid spoke angrily.
"These shadows are the shadows of the current Realm underneath and above the surface of the grass." The Shadow Queen stated.
The higher Maid was shocked. This was usually a once in a lifetime usage and using it on her instead of the Game Master was a wonderful idea.
"Do not think that I cannot abuse this technique. For now, this is my home. Where home is, I have more authority." The Shadow Queen spoke.
The higher Maid then cursed her living luck. There should not have been a clause like this. Unless they developed something or a previous royalty made this into a law.
"Which royal family made this up?" The higher Maid was cursing her luck still.
"As a matter of fact, I did. I wanted to be protected right beside my husband. Since he cannot always fight for me and I cannot for him. I used a law to make this for any Queen who wishes to be protected within her home." The Shadow Queen smirked.
The higher Maid continued her cursing until she finally had enough.
"I am the current Game Master's Maid. I go by higher Maid because there are technically four of us. There is a higher, lower, special, and personal Maid by the Game Master's side.
Before you ask, yes the Game Master can change appearance and you would never know it. Be warned and know that not all is well within this room and the game board watches everything." The higher Maid spoke.
"Thank you. Now then, ready to die?" The Shadow Queen asked ready to send her into the depths of the Realm.
"Now is not the time to fight. Just allow her to leave because we still have stuff to figure out." Rex spoke.
He was not truly wanting to let her go but he felt as if she did not return. The consequences were going to be rough.
"Thank you, darling. It is nice to know," she got her mouth covered by shadows.
"Good bye and make sure to tell your Game Master that Rex is the winner." The Shadow Queen forced her back inside the Game Board.
Now that everything was back to the way it was supposed to be. The Shadow Queen turned to Rex.
Before she could speak, "You damn where Shadow. Next time we meet, you will die." The voice of the higher Maid spoke behind the Shadow Queen.
"I have had enough." The Shadow Queen glowed darker.
The higher Maid got engulfed into shadows then a sickening crunch was heard. A tentacle somehow made it out of the shadows and the Shadow Queen forced the growth to stop until it exploded into a million pieces.
"Good." The Shadow Queen spoke.
She looked at the others and now they were afraid of angering her. They had all right to be afraid of angering the Shadow Queen now after what they just saw.
"We need to ensure that we can finish this game now. I am sick of having to fight between love, bitches, and whatever else we have to fight against. Come here once you have felt better." The Shadow Queen spoke.
They all had their feelings hurt by her. Yeah, it was supposed to be the reason why Rex would enjoy being with her. Yet, the other women have come in front of the duo.
Rex sat down beside of her. He still was not feeling good but decided to try and help her enjoy the rest of the game.
"Before you try to roll, allow me to explain a little bit of who you just killed." Luna spoke.
The Shadow Queen was upset but decided to hold back for now.
"When Rex finishes the game, he will become the next Game Master. He will not have to constantly watch the Forbidden Worlds. He will have to have maids who ensure that the powerful are either kept straight or can be killed.
I became too powerful for the Game Master's in the past and I was forgotten. The reason why I was able to be forgotten was I erased myself from the powerful listing.
Once Rex becomes the Game Master, he will have to use us to ensure that the Forbidden Worlds are not overly powerful or not overly underpowered.
The higher Maid is one of those people who help maintain that status quo. So now, we have to ensure that we are not screwing yourself over with the game now." Luna explained.
The Shadow Queen thanked Luna for explaining. Since the power shifted already towards Rex with Luna joining him. It became a major shift in power in killing on the maids.
"I guess now we have no choice but to stick together." The Shadow Queen spoke.
The other women tried to comfort her as she did do a right thing. The Shadow Queen could not bring herself to be comforted until Rex told her to be happy and not gloomy.
