Chapter 924 - Chapter 922 To the Armory

Rex took each step carefully. He had to make sure that he stayed inside the shadows. Otherwise, he risked the whole operation becoming turned upside down.

He slightly and curved with the wall. His shadow still inside the wall shadow. There was a window right beside him now.

"Well, it is either limbo time or get caught." He thought.

He waited until only a couple of guards were walking around. He began his limbo. It started smoothly until the two guards started walking in his direction. Then he had to press on to advance thankfully, he did not get caught but the he rubbed part of his disguise on the wall.

Rex felt that he was in more trouble now than before. The guards did not notice nor did they seem to care. Rex hurried away.

Rex heard the captain yelling at the two in the distance for being lazy. When they moved, they got yelled at again for leaving marks on the wall. They yelled back in denial but a massive clap was heard and nothing else. Until the captain ordered that these two be thrown into the grinder to be reused.

Rex knew that this was going to be his only chance to get into the armory. When he arrived at the stairs, he quickly took off. His stance meant for quick movements and dashes.

Once he reached the armory doors, they were already open. He looked inside to find two guards drinking some kind of alcohol. He entered as quietly as he could. Got to the two guards and smashed their skulls together like smashing two apples together. Now, he made sure to keep their skulls crushed. He could not allow them to see him taking the twelve weapons behind chains.

Although easy for him to get out. Most people would not know how to get them out without causing a massive disruption.

When the chain was all that was left, Rex took it as well. First, it seemed stronger than most chains he had ever seen. Second, something about it screamed take me with you.

Rex hearing someone coming up hid into shadows. The captain walked in declaring break was over. No one was in the room. Not even remains, when the captain turned a corner and saw the royal knight weaponry gone. He too was killed within that moment. Rex hid his body along side the other two. He did this second to ensure that no one would catch him.

Trying to leave again, two more were coming up happily jolly. Rex felt that he had to kill these two as well. When they walked past the doorway, they immediately became armed with swords. The swords looked crude but acceptable as guard weapons.

Rex darted behind them and killing them and taking the swords. They were slightly heavy but usable. He now made his way to the exit. No guards present along his path. Rex felt that maybe just maybe he could get somewhere. Near the palace entrance and exit were almost 100 guards.

Rex knowing that this would lead into a direct confrontation headed backwards. The fourth closest window, he jumped out ensuring that he did not leave a trail there.

He caught his breath and calmed his beating heart. This was probably the only chance he would ever get to either fight or distance himself for the palace and needed to be calm.

Two minutes and he was calmed down enough to dart into the a vehicle like thing. He started it up and headed towards the prison.

Thankfully, this car belonged to the captain whom he killed. Almost ninety minutes of driving and he arrived at the prison. He parked the car and walked away.

Within minutes, the car exploded. Rex was glad that he had not stayed closer. Multiple armed guards surrounded the car. What Rex did not realize was that he had parked into the correct spot but they had blown the car up by accident.

Multiple various of guards surrounded the guards. They were chained up and taking in for detention. This would help him get to the control room to unlock doors and free the Royal Knights whom needed to get out of dodge.

He had barely made it inside when he felt that there were security around. He had to make sure to disable that as well. He made his way to inside. Slowly but surely, and he would free the prisoners. The guards would not be able to contain them and leave without ever knowing that he was the cause.
