Lisa paused in the middle of chopping vegetables and stared at her son. "Bash, you didn't even want us to tell anyone it happened. Would you have really wanted a party for it?"
Bashenga fell silent as he placed his chin in his hand.

"So should I take that as I have one less portion to prepare?"

"I didn't think so." Lisa booped her son on the nose.
Snorting at the unsolicited affection, Bashenga turned to his sister who sat at the other end of the bar.
Her hands were folded over her nose as she stared into empty space.
She had the same look as someone who was waiting on the feds to kick their door in for tax evasion.
Bashenga appeared beside her and sniffed her.
