Abaddon kept his scaly gaze firmly affixed to the clock in the room.
He watched the short and long hands as if his life depended on it. The slow tick, tick, tick was all his ears could hear.
When the clock struck eight thirty, he knew it was time.
He turned his head towards the sofa, where Lailah used to sit with Izanami.
Now, Ayaana was stretching in her place.
*Yawn* "Morning every- WAAH!"
Abaddon used his tail like a whip and pulled Ayaana toward him by the waist.
He shook her like a rag doll with clear panic in his eyes.
"What do you mean you think Hastur's ugly ass is in Dola?!"
Ayaana was usually exhausted whenever she came into being, but somehow this felt completely different.
Her eyes immediately showed her clear lack of amusement.
"…Do you ever feel a deep disdain for parts of yourself? That's how I feel right now.."
