General Back was making his way to the outside walls, going through a series of tunnels that went for the entire length of the barrier-protected walls.
There were five people with him, bodyguards of a sort, though he didn't exactly need them. To say that Becker was furious was an understatement. All the errors that had brought the situation to be the one they were facing.
His jaw remained clenched as he thought about the cascade of failures that had brought them to this point. The situation could have been contained hours ago if his orders had been followed without question. Instead, Tiwana's hesitation and second-guessing had cost them precious time and allowed the crisis to spiral beyond control.
