When Pollux was working, he heard different sorts of rumours and gossip.
But the one that was talked about the most recently was about Mr. Vincent.
Apparently, Mr. Vincent was a very successful man, he was the richest man in the town and he never stopped reminding people about that.
They said he was a bully who always took anything he desired from people without caring about how they felt.
The ones who tried to oppose him in the past ended up dead, so people learnt to stay away from him.
That became easier to do later on because Vincent built his house in the center of the town, and around his house, only people he acknowledged were allowed to stay or sell there.
Vincent married a beautiful lady that wasn't from their village and he cared about her so much that he didn't even want anyone to set eyes on her, so he hardly ever let her step out of the house.
But tragedy befalls everyone, so they say.
On a faithful morning, everyone woke up as usual and went about their daily lives.
Those who were selling in stalls opened their stalls to sell, those wanted to hunt got their tools ready and were preparing to hunt.
All of a sudden there was silence in the air, everyone at that moment had the same thought on their mind.
'Something is definitely wrong'.
Before they could figure out what was going on, a deadly wail could he heard across town.
'AHHHHHHHHHHHH'.
It sounded so heart wrenching that everyone could almost feel the pain that the person screaming was feeling.
Then some people began to question.
'Why does it feel like that sound came from the center zone'.
'Yes, you are right I was about to say the same'.
'Besides not only is it from that place, the voice also sounded a bit like Mr. Victor'.
'OHHH'.
There was a sudden gasp, no one could believe that the almighty and all powerful Victor could scream with so much anguish in his voice.
'Do you want to go and check what is happening'?

As if a spell was cast, everyone dispersed and got to their business, afraid that whatever was happening would catch up with them.
It would be later at night that rumours would start to spread about what happened.
Some said it was a wild animal from the forest that attacked,
Some said it was the ghost of the people Victor killed that were haunting him,
Some said he lost all of him money, so he was about to become poor.
But among all these stories, there was a particular whisper that caught everyone's attention.
It was said that Mr. Victor's wife was found dead in the morning.
And the scary part of it all, is that no one knows how she died.
It was a mystery that was never solved..... well at least not until now.
