Victor ran his fingers through the blood trail in the grass while we were deep in the woods. "The beast must've come through here. This blood is still fresh. My attack from earlier hit its target, but we must stop it before it harms any more creatures of the forest." He wiped off his hand with a handkerchief. Kyle is standing behind Victor, glancing around the darkened woods, his wand at the ready. He looks so intense in the lack of lighting. "This doesn't make any sense. I have never heard of Death Hounds entering the Eastern Forest." Both men grew quiet. A few days ago, reports started flooding in about creatures of the forest being mercilessly attacked. From the wounds, we eventually found that the Death Hounds were the culprits. So, we were sent to investigate. Victor walked over to me and grabbed ahold of my hand.
