ON THE STAGE FACING THE CROWD
"We are all gathered here tonight to celebrate another new dawn of spring and since then till now, every year we all gather together as one big family putting all our differences aside to celebrate this day as a happy and peaceful celebration. I want to thank you all for making today which marks 'festival of spring' a success. Thank you" the Queen said as she joined her hands together in a fist and bowed her head to the people {a traditional/ western way as a sign of being appreciative, grateful or showing respect}.
The crowd applauded and cheered for the queen after she finished her speech.
"Also I know all of you are curious even up to know about the secret announcement that I wish to share today. I would like to call General Za on the high stage to stand next to me" The queen said in a gentle tone.
MEANWHILE
"Why is my dad being called up?" Mavin asked the girls
"And what's up with aunt special announcement being connected to General Za?" Kathy asked her cousin
"I don't know but this isn't right. Something smells fishy" Evie responded
The crowd applauded as General Za walked up to the high stage and stood right next to the Queen
"It's a great honor to be beside the queen and to be called upon by her highness" he said as he bowed his face down to the queen as a sign of respect
"No need to be formal after all will soon be family, I should be the one to say thank you for agreeing to accept the Feng's as part of your family" The queen said
As the queen said those words, the place became noisy as lots of murmuring were heard because everyone is in the state of confusion.
"Did you hear that?" Kathy asked
"I thought I might have mistaken those words" Evie said
"Did your mum just say our family will soon be joining as one family? Could it be?" Mavin asked
"Is it possible that my mum already knows about the two of us" Evie asked Mavin.
"Shouldn't that be a good news" Kathy asked
"Something isn't right" Evie said
"I thought my dad wanted me to be married in the same lineage, so why choose the fairies" he said and saw the glares the two girls gave him. "No insult" he said
"Still this doesn't make sense" Evie said
"Then lets wait until aunt clarifies all. I mean what can go wrong?" Kathy said
"I hope" Evie murmured.

"Let there be order" The queen said
"Settle down" General Za commanded in a very high tone and everywhere suddenly became quiet. "Your highness, the noise is still" he said
"Thank you" he responded to him. "As I said earlier" the queen continued, "General Za and his family will soon be part of the royal family. I know all of you are wondering how and what I meant but that is why in front of you all, today as a special day, I would like to announce the engagement ceremony between Captain Mavin Wayne and Princess Kathryn Brooklyn
(Meanwhile: - "What" the three friend shouted in union together in a shocked tone)
*While the crowd applaud (they didn't here/ interested in what the friends said or their reaction).
"And their soon to be future marriage is approved by the two side" The queen completed
(Meanwhile: - "No" the girls said in union. "this can't be happening" Evie said, "I can't marry you" Mavin said to Kathy, "And I'm not ready for marriage and not even picturing getting married, I still have my life to live" Kathryn responded. "But how is that possible? Once my mum has made up her mind, it's difficult for her to change it" Evie said).
"And today, this night, everyone will be a witness to their engagement and very soon the date for the wedding will be fixed and all are welcome to join in the celebration" The queen said and the crowd applauded and cheered.
"This can't be happening. I'm not just ready" Kathy said in her mind.

The lady still sitting at the window lost in space is known as Kathryn
"Just one incident and everything changed. It's been a week since my friends and I hanged out and that's because of the damn arranged marriage. Ever since Mavin was forced to be engaged with me, I haven't spoken to Evie. I'm sure she's been feeling bad and sad that's why she has been avoiding me" She said to herself.
The lady looked up at the stars in the night while her two palms were joined together
"Mum Dad I know up there your seeing what's going on here, please help me, I don't know what to do and I don't want to get married at least not this early and specially not to Mavin whose in love with Evie and if the both of us marry, Evie will be heartbroken. Mum Dad help me" Kathryn said.

Evie is seen running very fast as if something is chasing her in the dark forest, She kept on running and looking back to see if the path is clear that she didn't expect someone to pull her in an embrace
"That scent seems familiar" Evie said in her mind and looked up only for her eye to be met with an intensive stare from a pair of dark brown eyes.
"How long are you going to keep on running away from me?" Mavin asked
"What are you doing here?" Evie asked back
"You've been avoiding me. Why? Is it because of the force marriage?" Mavin asked but got no reply
"How long are you going to keep on hiding?" Mavin asked, his eyes still on her
"As long as I can" Evie answered in a furious tone
"Tell me why?" Mavin demanded
"Let go of me" Evie demanded.
"I won't unless you…
Before Mavin could complete his word, Evie gave him a big painful step on his foot
"Arghh!!" he groan in pain and released her from his embrace
"Why did you do that for?" he asked
"Next time when I say 'let go', you listen Understand" She yelled back at him.
"Just trying to cheer my girl up only to be beaten up by her, infact I thought your sad but you seem to enjoy beaten me up" he said playfully. "Infact continue frowning like an ugly beast. You know Its not good for your beauty" he said in a playful tone, only to stare as an angry face
